Just because Carrick plays for a better team, it dosen't exactly make him the better player.

Gibson > Gerrard though.

I will admit, that currently Gerrard is better than Gibson.

However, both players are extremeley similar, and wih time Gibson could reach the level of Gerrard. I believe Gibson has everything Gerrard has other than his long range passing ability.
