Michael Carrick or Charlie Adam

Carrick has played in multiple champions league finals, countless premier league games against the top four sides and many other high profile games in Europe and at Wembley.

Adam on the other hand has a play-off final to his name.


You would think it is clear who the superior player is. I must warn some of you before voting you will be called a troll by a particular member if you vote a certain option none the less...

Best not mention Carrick's Champions League Finals, eh? I'm still struggling to wipe the memory of the last two from my mind. He's certainly better than Charlie Adam though, that's why he's playing for a team who actually win trophies.

they are about even imo but carrick gets my vote because of his experience in big games even if he did suck in some of those big games.

Adam would be the better player for a lower team, like lets say if you put Carrick in Blackpool he'd not be nearly as effective as Adam, but Carrick is the better player at getting a team ticking and the better for a bigger team.

Charlie Adam could be pretty good at Liverpool though, if he makes his passing game more simple.
