Carrick made his misakte when he moved to Utd in the first place. Now, even SPurs wouldn't have him back. He's good enough for a Sunderland-Villa at best now.

Hahaha, 06/07 and 07/08 he was a phenomenal player for us.

Not comparing them in the ability sense at all, it's just annoying and ridciculous when people feel the need to post what a player has won in his career to try and justify how good a player he was, when it makes no difference

We don't have to prove what Carrick's won at United to prove he's a good player though

If you honestly believe his mistake was signing for us, and he wasn't top quality for us in 06/07 and 07/08 with 52 apps and 49 in the other, being able to control a game with ease, then

I can guarantee he was quality for us in his first 2 seasons, trophies or no trophies.

Saying that, even in the past 2 seasons where he wasn't any where near as good, he still played 43 and 44 games. 25 this season as well.

Well i think Lucas is better so rather than big him up, the obvious thing to do is to put Carrick down because i think he is shit. If that's a problem then simply don't reply, i don't care either way
And for Danny, as i said....who cares about his first two season, Torres was great for us for 2 years then went pretty shit but if a debate over who is better Villa or Torres arises, i'm not gonna use the fact he was simply amazing in his first two seasons as an argument
