Lucas vs Meireles

Tricky one tbh. Both were excellent against Spurs + West Ham. Lucas is coming into his own, and Meireles is already looking so comfortable in the Premier League, It's shocking to see that he hasn't scored yet, he's been very close several times, and I mean VERY close.

This thread is generally directed at fellow Liverpool fans, or anyone who's willing to take this seriously and actually post their opinions.

It's also aimed at the people who've actually watched them play several times, and not just on MOTD.

So if you decide to be a WUM/idiot, then you'll just get reported.

I've always rated Lucas when even Liverpool fans said he's shit, he's quality at what he does imo, very underrated like Anderson.

They're both good, I'd take Lucas personally.

Miereles cos he has had experience at a higher level and I do reckon he is a better player than Lucas.

Also threatening to report wont do much, they haven't banned the trolls already (Rolo, Danny B, Kuled, Egzon) So they wont ban cos someone trolls Lucas or Miereles. Razz

I would have to choose Meireles. I think he is fitting nicely into the PL and how Liverpool play. He was motm against west ham and last night he had a few shots at goal which were inches away, they were cleanly struck and very accurate. I believe meireles is very experienced and reads the game very well. In the future I could see meireles becoming a very important player for us tbh.

I can't wait to see us next year tbh. I think we should stick with Roy because if you think about it the team are having to learn totally new tactics for example Rafa used to have us zonal mark but no we man mark ... things like that. What do you think ?

I've never watched a game tbh and thought "wow Merieles is killing it today" whereas against Chelsea, Lucas (who I thought was the worst player in the PL) played amazing, so Lucas.

i've always liked Lucas and thought he would turn out good, the same people that bash Nani and Anderson are the same way towards Lucas, young players need time, something nobody wants to give them.......though Ando still has a ways to go, he was fucking amazing against Blackburn

Can't have watched many International games he's played in then, he's always one of the best players on the pitch for Portugal.

Meireles seems more composed on the ball, Lucas looks quite sloppy and unbalanced when he is passing, on the other hand, Meireles doesn't really play any adventurous passes so it's a tricky one, but I suppose Meireles.
