My friend, we can not look at the facts when they suit Liverpool. Let's look back over the last 2 years instead. Even under Liverpools favourite manager Rafa Lucas was poor, Carrick was still consistently playing in a title winning side. Put Lucas in our midfield and we don't win the title. He is flimsy, weak, and small. A comparison with Fletcher is fairer considering their style of play, however Fletcher has better strength, shooting, passing, work rate, tackling, heading, determination.
You name it.
Lets go by the real comparison, Fletcher vs Lucas. Fletcher wins in every department. Lucas seems like an annoying fly that any strong footballer would push over with ease.
