Lucas has been in better form, but I think Carrick has more talent, when he's on he can control a game. Just very inconsistent lately.

He's been horrible for the last 1 and a half seasons. Too late for a revival of form from him imo. Don't really mind his age, players in his position usually get better with age. Do agree that he might never be the same, if Ferguson can't get him back to normal after this long, not sure who will.

Think Carrick's definitely the better player, but he hasn't been consistently good for around 2 years, so at the moment Lucas is better.
