We're not horrid. A few additions and we'll do well. Much better then people think we will.

Bolton have brought in Dedryck Boyata on loan from Manchester City.

Lille have also signed some winger. To replace Hazard? Maybe.

We'll have the best set of wingers in the league imo, depending on who the striker is, we could have a good strike force. Our midfield is a bit weak depth wise though.

Ooh the guy from Monaco? He's decent from what i've heard, thought he was a striker though.

Don't for get Traore might go on loan to QPR but that would be a very bad move from Wenger unless he brings someone else in.

It's annoying that we've basically gone 360 over the summer if we do manage to pull off the signings Wenger wants.

We've gone from the best midfield and one of the best sets of full backs in the league, to those positions potentially being our worst.

Seems like things will finally start moving along. I'm still disappointed that Wenger doesn't feel that we need a left back. Maybe he thinks Jenkinson is ready.

Realistic prediction: We'll sign Cahill and M'vila. Campbell will get a work permit too.


Hoping for: M'vila, Hazard, Cahill and Eboue to play up front.

They're near the end of the lists for a reason Probably only play cup games, but bar Squillaci I think they can all do a job.

Mannone is a good 3rd choice keeper, Squillaci will be 5th choice so hopefully he won't play much, I want to see Chamberlain and Miyachi play more in cup games, and can't judge Campbell really yet.

Ready to be a starter. If Gibbs is injured (which let's face it is quite likely) then Jenkinson will be our starting right back. I'm not happy with it either but we'll see how things develop.

My one hope is, if we have to choose between M'vila or Hazard. We go for Hazard.

I've always wanted a backup DM, but we are struggling to create goals recently.

I feel sorry for him. As soon as Walcott started pushing up and a bit more inside, Van Persie was looking so much better.

I've always seen RVP as a number 10. He needs someone to play off him.

Someone suggested way back that Wenger could be thinking about a formation change, one that is similar to the one used in 2003/04. I guess it would look something like this:

Gervinho-Song-Wilshere-Hazard
van Persie
Walcott
