I believe we started the process to register AOC a few days before we announced his transfer.arsenalap11 wrote:Steadman wrote:I meant registering them as an official Arsenal player, we're not exactly the fastest club when it comes to negotiations. The Bat-Man wrote:Steadman wrote:We wouldn't have time to register them anyway. Registration happens in one go on September the first, during August and January you can play anyone you like without registration problems.
AOC happened in 1 day which gives me faith

You have to register a player before you can play him.
During the months of August and January anyone can play, on September 1st and February 2nd the clubs have to send their list of players to the Premier League bunch.
You still need to register a player before he can play.

Jheeze. I can see you signing at least one more decent player though.
Any of you optimistic for the Man United match? At least you're getting that game over and done with early on.

We wont replace Cesc. We will probably move Wilshere in the hole and sign M'vila to take Wilshere's old position, or just play Ramsey in the hole. Apparently we are going for Hazard to replace Nasri.
Btw guys CL group stage draw is live RIGHT NOW !

That's not a good thing. I'd much rather play them later on when we are in a better state, have less injuries, and are able to play any players we bring in this week.
Our midfield against United will be piss poor, which will mean we won't have anyone to cover the defence, or anyone really to feed van Persie so we lose out completely. If Koscielny plays, we'll have a decent back 5, and a decent front 3, but the middle will possibly be:
Djourou/Lansbury/Coquelin - Ramsey
Rosicky
Which won't work together at all.

Whats so hard to understand. The sentence is perfectly clear. I would rather play Robin out wide in a 4-3-3 if Hulk were in the team than to see Hulk out wide and Robin playing in the middle? Are you slow because that sentence is very clear in it meaning.Chris wrote:That was the argument right? Arise said he would play Robin wide and now he says in bold.Fonseca wrote:AriseForLife wrote:This is where we will have to disagree. Personally I don't want Hulk at Arsenal because there are better options such as Mario Gomez if Bayern would entertain selling him.Ricardo wrote:The fuck? Don't you know what type of player Hulk is? Why? Seeing as van Persie over the past few seasons has been very good in the middle, and seeing as Hulk has been very good out wide. Also, Hulk plays on the right, and it's for a reason.
I'm taking it you've not watched Hulk play much which is why you're saying this, because there's no other reason why anyone would say it.

He is smart at times, but then at other times he says something which he knows nothing about, and then when people disagree, instead of admitting he was wrong he continues to hold his ground and digs himself into a massive hole. This being an example.

I've always said I would prefer to see Van Persie out wide playing as a forward. I am not saying Hulk is not good out wide, I am saying I would prefer Van Persie out wide. Wenger will never play him out there anymore, but that hasn't changed my calls to see him played as a forward over a striker, that much I have said many many times.
My exposure to Hulk didn't really come until this season because I do not get many games from Portugal, also I basiically stopped following the league once Simao left.

I am smart, just because I do not agree or have the same opinion as the general consensus doesn't make it less smart. Again this is what "I" personally prefer.

Not that it matters, because we'll never get him.

If somebody came up to you and said "Bendtner is better than Messi" would you say "that's your opinion I agree to disagree" or will you call him out for saying stupid shit ? I can't see the logic behind your theory at all do you even watch hulk play ?

Not really tbh, we'll still top the group not by a huge margin with Marseille second down to their experience in the competition and Dortmund third.Jord wrote:You're fucked

Dortmund are a great team tbh. Surprised they hardly lost any of their players apart from Sahin. It will be a hard game no doubt. Knowing us I wont be surprised if we bottle it and come second.

They won the Bundesliga, but Wolfsburg did and were nearly relegated, they have some good attackers, Kagawa is great right now, but they are not as good as Arsenal in quality or experience.

Yes we would, theoretically anyway. Probably 2nd though.
