Walcott and Sagna are both not Arsenal fans and have been around long enough to negotiate properly I imagine, so it'd be alot harder to get them tied down, even more so as I imagine they want a mint in wages. Not saying that's acceptable but don't compare giving Jenkinson a new deal to the more senior players....
Jenkinson will never leave Arsenal. I'd bet on that.

Wenger thinks Arsenal can still win league
This crazy French bastard is losing his mind and bringing the club down with him. You might not care. But if you keep losing big name players and are out of the champions league you will lose foreign fans to clubs like City. Which is depressing and takes money from the club

I actually do, I think Wenger is off of his rocker. Great football Brain, great player coach. But he isn't the type of person who can handle such a large role at such a large club. I mean look at what has happened. No trophies in almost a decade

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
No way does Wenger believe we can win title. But this is why he is the manager for Arsenal for years to come.. the owners love that he says shit like this.
He doesn't discuss financial problems with media, doesn't ask for more players and high-quality players, owners get to continue to do what they want and give Wenger mediocre to field.. scapegoat Wenger, Wenger takes it like a champ. Rinse and repeat every year.
Oh you made the champions league with a bunch of trash and youth? Let's sell off the good players to contending clubs and do it again.

You believed we would be better without Van Persie.Theo Filippo wrote:Yeah like that Van Persie fella.

It's better than saying 4th place is success
He can't exactly motivate these losers if he keeps on saying that shit
He's stopped talking about "Mental Strength" because none of these lot have the ballbag to show any

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
The way Arteta was playing on saturday, did he really think he was going to score that penalty?
When we won it my friends celebrated as if we scored and the game was over, I knew he wasn't going to score. Would have been a great chance for Giroud to get a hattrick for us.

Papers saying we're toying with the idea of using a 5-3-2 formation to combat our defensive frailties.
maybe?
Szczesny
Koscielny - Mertesacker - Vermalen
Sagna ------------------------------------------ Gibbs
Wilshere - Arteta
Cazorla
Walcott - Giroud

I rather have Podolski and Giroud upfront. Then I wouldn't mind using that formation.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I put Walcott there as he's got pace and the fact he wants to play there. I imagine Wenger would prefer Podolski.

Walcott has played 742 mins for Arsenal this season, contributing to 16 goals (9G, 7A), so that's just over 46 mins per goal contribution
