football side of things in terms of finance, which means every time we buy a player we ''have'' to drive a hard bargain. This will change in 2014 when we get circa £40m profit to bottom line until then we are where we are. Hence why it takes us ages to sign a player.

    I don't understand lol.

Wenger is forced to be a stingy ass bastard because every penny counts when we're paying off the stadium debt, we can start spending like City in 2014 like Mal said.

Just more decent signings to a team that will continue to miss pieces.

We just have no backbone.. no real balls.. i feel like we play scared, random, and worried for 90 minutes.
You think Downing, Adam, Enrique, Clichy and Young would be more 'team changing' than Hazard? Neutral

No... because transfer funds are not used to pay stadium debt otherwise we would be paying it off next year, use your brain

The only reason we will struggle until 2014 is sponsorship. We make less that Tottenham annually, because we had a bunch of cunts negotiate our deals. Laughing

Transfer sales are a form of revenue and we use that revenue for many uses i.e paying off the debt, this makes our actual transfer budget smaller hence Wenger having to fight tooth and nail for the last penny.

Nike rip us off the most. United have a sponsorship with Nike which adds up to £350m over ten years. Us with the same company get £80m over ten years. rofl

So you're theoretically saying that we're a feeder club? maybe you should take your head out of Wenger's arse and realise that the transfer funds are and always have been separated from the stadium debt. Same as every frickin business, funds are separated for different area's of the business

One of the most respected sites in France are saying that Lille will announce that Hazard will join Arsenal for €30 million.

I guess we will have to wait and see. I hope it's true!

Arsenal sponsorship - £8m per annum from Nike. £6m per annum from Fly Emirates.

Manchester United sponsorship - £35m a year from Nike, £20m a year from Aon and £10m a year from DHL for training kits.

Manchester United is a global brand, you're comparing two very different businesses there. We have a global fanbase, global appeal, Arsenal rank third in England at best for that, and it's a distant third as well.

By the way, the £10m a year from DHL is only for training kits to be worn before domestic fixtures, for Champions League fixtures we are likely to sell to another company for a much higher amount.

I didn't say we should be on par with Manchester United once. I'm comparing the differences.

But yeah looks like Wenger is looking for a CB, winger and a striker by the end of the window.

    Hopefully we end up with:

    Szczsney
    Sagna - Cahill - Vermaelen - Gibbs
    Song - Wilshere
Hazard - van Persie - Gervinho
    New striker

Must be the 100th lineup i've posted this summer, but it's quite realistic although I don't think he'll play RvP there, but it depends on the striker.

We have until next Wednesday to sign someone Neutral

I bet we don't sign anyone and we will be stuck with a small and injury prone squad until January.
