October Review
Manchester United had a difficult time in October. With injuries to several key players, including their starting strike partnership, they started poorly. They fought hard, but gave away a late goal to draw at Fulham. This was followed by a surprise defeat at home to Blackburn, where United failed to take their chances. The same happened in Europe, as Man Utd lost by the same margin at home to Marseille. They looked destined to drop points against West ham, throwing them further behind leaders Chelsea and Arsenal, but overcame a 2-0, then 4-2 deficit to defeat West Ham 5-4 in London. This was followed by a comfortable victory at Coventry in the League Cup. They will play Blackburn away in the quarter finals. The Red Devils ended the month with a disappointing draw at Sunderland.
Awards:
Manager of the Month: Carlo Ancelotti (Chelsea)
Player of the Month: Fernando Torres (Chelsea)
Young Player of the Month: Gareth Bale (Totthenham Hostpur)
Goal of the Month: Adlene Guediora (Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Aston Villa)

November Review
After an embarassing start to the month, a humiliation at the hands of Marseille, Manchester United really hit top form. Arsenal were blown away 4-1, before Stoke were swept aside. Aston Villa and West Brom were also convincingly beaten. The Red Devils also blew away Young Boys 5-0 for the second time in a row. They ended the month with a 2-2 draw with Liverpool, despite leading 2-0. Several of United's players impressed during this month. Rooney and Berbatov scored twice while Giggs and Valencia hit five each. Anderson and Fletcher put in some solid performances, grabbing a goal each, while Fabio also hit a scorcher against Villa. Man Utd's revival in the league earned manager Abraar the Barclays Manager of the Month for November, his second of the season.
Awards:
Manager of the Month: Abraar Akhter (Manchester United)
Player of the Month: Carlos Tevez (Manchester City)
Young Player of the Month: Franco di Santo (Wigan Athletic)
Goal of the Month: Kevin Doyle (Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Stoke City)

December Review
Man Utd had a poor opening game in December, losing to Blackburn at home in the League Cup. They then put in two of their best performances of the season, beating table toppers Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and blowing away their Manchester rivals at home. They ended the Champions League group stage with a win over Anderlecht. The Red Devils will play Inter Milan in the Last 16. They then edged Bolton thanks to a brace from Dimitar Berbatov. The first was a brilliant strike from the edge of the area that earned him the Barclays Goal of the Month award, and the second was the winning goal in the 90th minute. The year ended in mediocre fashion, with disappointing draws to Newcastle and Spurs. Manchester United were also pleased to welcome back Javier Hernandez from his lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Awards:
Manager of the Month: Arsene Wenger (Arsenal)
Player of the Month: Abou Diaby (Arsenal)
Young Player of the Month: Gareth Bale (Tottenham Hotspur)
Goal of the Month: Dimitar Berbatov (Manchester United vs Bolton Wanderers)

Oi, I'm still second.
It's fair to say I ruined Liverpool a lot more.

Re: SBSP's Manchester United save
Okay, to the occasional person who opens this thread by accident, should I sell Evra to Barcelona for £25-30M?

Re: SBSP's Manchester United save
Evra is 29, and my backup is Fabio, then O'Shea. Evans can play there too.
If I sold him, I'd probably buy a new LB.

Re: SBSP's Manchester United save
Barca offered £23.5M. I'll say £30M, and sell if they accept.

Re: SBSP's Manchester United save
Sampdoria offered £4M for Fabio.
EDIT: Tried to negotiate it to £5M, but they withdrew.
