Champions Performance as Red Devils Claim Title
Manchester United put in one of their best performances of the season, demolishing Newcastle 6-0. Javier Hernandez was in superb form, netting a hat trick of poacher's efforts. Wayne Rooney also got himself on the scoresheet to make it four while Ferdinand netted a header off a corner give United a 5-0 lead. Joey Barton was sent off for a rash challenge on Owen Hargreaves, who stepped up to smack in the resulting free kick. Manager Abraar was delighted with the performance: a truly special end to a great Premier League campaign. United will now set their sights on European glory as they face Real Madrid in the Champions League Final.

Manchester United stunned everyone, including their manager, with a 5-1 victory over Real Madrid at Wembley. Kaká gave Real a perfect start with a goal midfway through the first half. Wayne Rooney equalised for Man Utd four minutes later after being put through by Hargreaves. It was all about Rooney after that, and he put Man United ahead five minutes later from a Javier Hernandez cutback. He completed his hat trick six minutes into the second half from another Chicharito comeback. Ryan Giggs then smashed in a delightful free kick, before a fourth Rooney goal from a third Hernandez assist wrapped it all up. Manager Abraar was lauded by the fans as well as former Man Utd player David Beckham. It is Manchester United's fourth triumph in the Champions League.
