Untouchable Manchester United continue their wonderful form in October. Manchester United's great form has made them the team to beat. After a month of fantastic attacking football, United are 4 points clear of their London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea. They started their first game in October how they ended in September. And that is by scoring goals. After brushing aside relegation candidates Newcastle United and West Brom, United took on the Dutch Champions Ajax. The Media labelled it as the group of death and rightly so. The red devils managed to scrape a hard fought win at Old Trafford, and with Real Madrid in the same group scoring goals for fun, United must start finding the net more in Europe. After a hard week United faced Bolton where they also won another scrappy home win. Owen Hargreaves scoring his first goal in almost 14 months. All good things must come to an end though and that is what happened against the blues Birmingham drawing their second Premier league game in the campaign so far., but despite that result, Manchester United still have a healthy 4 point lead at the top.

Domination continues for Manchester United It has been another great month for the Manchester United fans as they remained unbeaten in the premier league and won three massive points at the bridge. After a dissapointing end to October, United brushed aside Dutch champions Ajax in the Champions league in Holland. After creating more worries to relegation feared Wigan with a 5-0 win at Old Trafford, Manchester United traveled to London to take on the Champions Chelsea. A feisty encounter, with many bookable challenges and a red card for the England international Ashley Cole after a second bookable offence. United took the lead from the on-form Mexican Javier Hernandez but it was cancelled out from the Ivory Coast captain Didier Drogba, but into the second half, Manchester United took the lead again with 30 minutes on the clock to go through the Bulgarian Dimitar Berbatov. It stayed that way for the rest of the game and United opened up an 8 point lead over Arsenal. However, United could not find the goals in the Manchester Derby as it ended 0-0. United then defeated Russian side Rubin and with Real Madrid losing to Ajax in the other game, it meant that United won the group. After a hard month Liverpool came to town but could not defeat them as it ended 1-1.
