United Rout Spurs to Win League Cup
Manchester United took home the Carling Cup after a outstanding performance against an average Tottenham side. Abraar's boys were off to a flyer as Nani gave them the lead after five minutes with a drilled free kick. Hernandez then doubled the lead before Lennon handed Spurs a lifeline. United then hit two more goals in the last five minutes with two counter attacks, finished off by Valencia and Hernandez.

February Review
Man Utd were busy in all competitions in February. United looked to be going down against Fulham after conceding two early goals, but a sensational comeback was rounded off by a 96th minute Dimitar Berbatov winner. West Brom were beaten 4-0 in the League, but Abraar's bogey team, Blackburn, upset the Red Devils 1-0 at Ewood Park. Man City were dumped out of the FA Cup 4-1, and Wrexham followed, losing 3-1. Shakhtar were then demolished 4-0 on their own ground in the first leg of the last 16, and the month was wrapped up with victory in the League Cup Final.
Awards:
Manager of the Month: Arsene Wenger (Arsenal)
Player of the Month: Pepe Reina (Liverpool)
Young Player of the Month: Jack Rodwell (Everton)
Goal of the Month: Gabriel Agbonlahor (Aston Villa vs Newcastle United)

96th minute winner? The magic remains.
And Blackburn are very overrated in this game

I actually celebrated when he scored the winner. There were only 4 minutes added on too.Kuled wrote:96th minute winner? The magic remains.

March Review
Manchester United were again busy in all competitions in March. Swansea and Everton were beaten in the league. A poor performance ending in an injury-time equaliser by Federico Macheda meant their FA Cup tie with Burnley would go to a replay, which was won 2-0 thanks to a great Antonio Valencia double. Shakhtar were knocked out of the Champions League 4-0 on aggregate, and Sunderland were beaten in the league. United were stunned by Stoke in the league, their third loss in the Premier League this season, and their third loss by a 1-0 margin. A Nani brace earned United a vital away win against Arsenal in the CL, and they finished the month with a win over Aston Villa. David De Gea kept four clean sheets in the league, only letting in one goal, to win the Barclays Young Player of the Month award for March.
Awards:
Manager of the Month: Kenny Dalglish (Liverpool)
Player of the Month: Kenwyne Jones (Stoke City)
Young Player of the Month: David De Gea (Manchester United)
Goal of the Month: Emad Meteeb (Newcastle United vs Fulham)

April Review
Manchester United had a rocky time in April. They began the month by beating West Ham and trouncing Arsenal in the Premier League. The prize of the FA Cup eluded Man Utd once again as 10-man Arsenal came back to beat them in the semi final at Wembley. A tired side just managed to snatch a draw at Porto thanks to a late header by Chris Smalling. Another poor performance led to another defeat to 10 men, this time 3-1 at the Reebok. United bounced back by beating Porto 2-0 at home to seal their place in the Champions League final with Barcelona. They ended the month with a bore draw to Liverpool.
Awards:
Manager of the Month: Mick McCarthy (Wolverhampton Wanderers)
Player of the Month: Carlos Tevez (Manchester City)
Young Player of the Month: Chris Wood (West Ham United)
Goal of the Month: Martin Petrov (Bolton Wanderers vs Manchester United)

Everton? They've spent £8.75m. Though they have sold £7.2m worth.

Re: SBSP's Manchester United save
Matchday 38 about to kick off.
Arsenal (3rd) vs Man Utd (2nd)
Man City (1st) vs Spurs (5th)
Arsenal have to win and hope Man City fail to win to take the title; Man Utd have to better Man City's result to be champions; Man City can guarantee the title by winning, but will also win regardless of their result if the other game ends in a draw; Spurs need to better Chelsea's result to come fourth.
There's still everything to play for.
