Also brought in biscuits, alves, and pique, and got rid of deco and dinho, can't believe people try to make it seem like he just picks line ups and says "go play beautifully"

Different team. More players have matured. (Messi and Pedro)

Because Guardiola moved Messi's position and brought Pedro in against wishes from higher up though.
What about Pique coming in 08 and Alvez aswell after Rijkaard left iirc.

Guess that only applies when it doesn't soften the loss for your team.

Yeh, I picked up on that as well! I never take the manager interviews seriously

That was Phelen, not Fergie though.

So when Phelan said "We" he was talking about the society of bald headed people?

What about it...does Guardiola not get credit for turning Piqué into one of the best centre backs around? And does he not get credit for utilising Alves' perfectly?

Gone into a whole different topic. I didn't say Guardiola didn't do the wonderful things he has done.

( PS: Alvez was playing similarly to the way he did at Sevilla, it's just that Baca's style suits him more than sevilla's.

He sticks to the wing a lot more than he did for Sevilla.

But I'll leave it there because it's not the right thread.

He has that luxury because of Barca's high line.

Finally, all I'm saying this team is better than the team Rijkaard left in 08.

Eh? How would that change the fact that at Sevilla he was involved in central areas a lot more than he is these days?

Edit: Didn't make it clear first time round I think.

Isn't there a stupid rule, where if the ref takes action in a match over something (which the ref did in Rooney's case) then the FA can't retrospectively punish the player for the incident?

Or am I talking out my arse? Laughing

    Fergie is unreal.
He tears into Luiz/the ref and all this, yet Wayne Rooney commited the most blatant red card offence of the season and he says there was 'nothing in it'! There's defending your players then there is just making yourself look like a massive prick infront of the world!

But in fact, while the FA is under Fergie's control, Fergie is under the control of a small, powerful, shadowy group, the Illuminati, which in turn is controlled by Pinky and the Brain. Thus, their daily quest for global domination is one step closer to completion.

One side claims the FA and the refs love Fergie and Man Utd.

The other side claims the FA and the refs hate Fergie and Man Utd.

    What a prick you are.

Well, you're not a prick but fucking annoys me when people want to see such a football great retire because he's moaned about decisions gone against him, most people in football and in life are hypocrites.
