Reina: If he can find his form of a couple of years ago that would be great, especially considering how much this style suits him.
Johnson: Quality full back, ironed out defensive mistakes, always a threat going forward. Can chip in with a few goals and assists and, like Enrique, should be allowed to go forward more with the extra midfielder to cover him. Not that he was ever restricted in an attacking sense, but you know what I mean.
Skrtel: Despite being an accident waiting to happen for his whole time at Liverpool barring the first 6 months, he was an absolute rock last season. Might take time to adapt to the new style but I'm confident he can, especially with Agger alongside him, compliment each other really well.
Agger: If he stays and stays fit, he'll be one of our most important players this season. Solid defensively and so comfortable on the ball, I hope this season he gets the praise that he's deserved for years. I'd also make him vice-captain.
Enrique: Hope he gets back to his best, last 6 months or so haven't been brilliant for him. Should have plenty of license to get up and down this season, which along with having the added protection of an extra central midfielder should relieve some pressure that he might have been feeling after carrying Downing for the first half of the season.
Lucas: We all know what he's about now, one of the best in the league at what he does and Rodgers seems to love him.
Allen: Brendan's best mate, looked really tidy so far as you'd expect. Keeps the likes of Spearing, Adam and Henderson out which is a bonus. Fairly big price tag for a young player but Rodgers has a lot of confidence in him.
Sahin: Would be a fantastic signing if we can get it done. Class act who, along with Lucas and Allen should let us really control matches. Could be the extra bit of creativity that we've been lacking.
Gerrard: With the potential arrival of Sahin, Gerrard should be allowed to push forward more and link up with Suarez which we haven't seen enough of. Could be deadly still.
Suarez: Frustrating and brilliant at the same time. If he can reach 20 goals which he should considering the extra matches he'll play through not getting banned and us being in Europe, I'd be well happy. As long as he keeps up his performances too.
Borini: Reserving judgement until I've seen more of him. Think he could get 15 goals which wouldn't be a bad return considering what we paid and his age.
