Sturridge is the more natural striker.

Hazard can play as a striker and did the odd few times for Lille. I'm not saying that he would or should come here, but there's certainly a reason for why he would be available.arsenalap11 wrote:Jord wrote:Torres, Marin, Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Moses will all be ahead of him. I don't want him though.
Not really. Atm, if Torres get injured, he starts
Or buy another one. I personally would have kept Lukaku, he'll be twice the player of Sturridge.Ted wrote:I dont think we'd sell our only other striker.

Skrtel on the other hand would receive a nice boost to 82.Theo Filippo wrote:Agger - 84 - Agreed (Although EA won't rate him higher than Vermaelen)
Why not?

I don't like it. Though I would love to watch Andy play in Serie A and dominate opposition defences. He'll definitely do a good job over there.. A million for the year and around 10 million pounds to buy is really shady though.Jelavić7|EFC wrote:Jord wrote:Milan and their loans can fuck off.
Apparently they're offering 1.5million euros for the year and an option to buy for 13.5million euros.
ITV are also reporting it.

In what universe is Andy Carroll worth over 20 million pounds?
Because physical presence is a good plus in Serie A. Strikers who bully defences often end up doing well over there. If he goes, he'll do well, not on Ibrahimovic's level but well. You have to watch it to understand fully, since it's a relatively slow game in Italy and a player like Carroll can fit into that system easily.Ted wrote:Jord wrote:I don't like it. Why would Andy Carroll do better in a much more technical league?

It is simplistic, but sometimes simple views are the correct ones. You'll see, SeanTed wrote:Jord wrote:Because physical presence is a good plus in Serie A. Strikers who bully defences often end up doing well over there. If he goes, he'll do well, not on Ibrahimovic's level but well.
Thats a really simplistic view though, you could say that more about the Premier League and he hasnt been good at all. Also what big physial strikers do well in Serie A? The majority of successful strikers are small technical players e.g. Di Natale, Totti, Shevchenko, Del Piero etc

If we loan out Andy I'll be pissed. More so at the fact that were already short on strikers and attackers than him being gone.
