Happy that Downing got dropped for Sterling, who has proved he's miles more useful. It was painful watching Kenny constantly play Downing, he'd play awful for 85 minutes, Sterling would come on and play great, yet Downing was always picked ahead of him

Skrtel is a good defender. The goals conceded today had little to do with his defending ability.
Not sure why this is being questioned really, being a good defender doesn't mean that you never concede or make the odd error, and Liverpool were good defensively last season with Skrtel playing a big part of that.
