Then what's the point in loaning him out? We gain nothing from it.

Hopefully he smashes it and Newcastle come back next season with a nice offer.

His value will only decrease this year as a bench player. We need to recoup as much as we can.

It's leaving us a bit short this season though unless we get someone else in.

I don't think Rodgers is stupid enough to let us go without another striker, so I expect us to buy one..

Their finishing is poor, and Sterling/Assaidi should be able to exploit their full backs imo. Then again, our finishing isn't anything to be proud of either.

All we are lacking is the movement upfront which will come with time, we've been solid defensively and dominated both games as Kyro has said, get real.
