Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I don't think we would agree to any deal that did not have an agreement to buy. That would juts be stupid business.
And if we are loaning Carroll out, I think we are definitely going to be getting another striker. It's an absolute must.

That explains it.
1m loan fee.
That 18yr old lad is our replacement for Carroll.
Woop woop.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Apparently it's Carroll's refusal to move to West Ham on a permanent deal that means that there's no option to buy.

Think Sterling will start against Arsenal, considering he's not going to be playing 90 today

Then what's the point in loaning him out? We gain nothing from it.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Hopefully he smashes it and Newcastle come back next season with a nice offer.
His value will only decrease this year as a bench player. We need to recoup as much as we can.
It's leaving us a bit short this season though unless we get someone else in.

I don't think Rodgers is stupid enough to let us go without another striker, so I expect us to buy one..

Average performance, Sterling looked good once again. Doni is better than Reina right now.

Pretty confident for the Arsenal game, they don't look good at all. Think we can get three points especially with Agger back.

They don't look good at all? I'd say you're wrong, defensively they look solid.. and controlling the game isn't a problem for them, they just need to put chances away.samiz wrote:Pretty confident for the Arsenal game, they don't look good at all. Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Their finishing is poor, and Sterling/Assaidi should be able to exploit their full backs imo. Then again, our finishing isn't anything to be proud of either.kyro7 wrote:They don't look good at all? All we are lacking is the movement upfront which will come with time, we've been solid defensively and dominated both games as Kyro has said, get real.samiz wrote:Pretty confident for the Arsenal game, they don't look good at all. Think we can get three points especially with Agger back.
