Very different side to Rodgers here
Edit: It was.. And look at what he did today. I know that feeling though, you think you have the trust of a really sound teacher and then you go a little too far and get a pasting.
I know exactly what you mean, you feel guilty when you let them down, hopefully he makes sure he doesn't do it again.

He would have been absolutely buzzing with that, bet he was trying so hard not to smile.

Fark Joe Allen was really impressive...so composed on the ball.
I like Borini but I think Gerrard could do a similar if not better job than him on the right/left. This would create space for Sahin.

Borini is unable to cross

I like Coates' tackling technique....he just throws his extremely long legs into the tackle, doesn't always work but it looks great. Was effective on a couple of occasions.

That telling off must have motivated Sterling, hopefully he'll keep his place over Downing.

Gerrard on the right, Suarez on the left, Borini through the middle, with Sterling coming on to face tired legs.
That depends on Lucas' injury though. Not sure i'd rely on Shelvey at CM vs Arsenal, compared to Gerrard.

Shelvey was better than Gerrard yesterday, knew Rodgers' system really well and was composed.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Why not?
Also, just saw this on the offal, an interview with a Turkish reporter
Do you think there will be a few more Liverpool supporters in Turkey now?
Exactly. Turkey already has a lot of Liverpool fans but Turkish fans are emotional and nationalistic, and so everybody supports and follows Turkish players like the national team, wherever they are playing. In fact, I was a Chelsea fan but now I am Liverpool because of Nuri. I'm going to buy his No.4 shirt.

What has he done to deserve an 80 rating?

Pisses me off when people still think Gerrard's our best player. I just put that team on Facebook and someone said "Take Gerrard out of the team and you'll struggle badly."

Why would Carroll be rated higher than Borini?

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I want Gerard in the team. Having Sahin will keep him fresher as well.
With our four midfielders healthy well have options and chances to rest. It's a good thing.
The thing is with Lucas allen and Sahin starting.... Are there any goals there? Not from Lucas but do Allen and Sahin score?

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
No, and I don't think Sterling will score a lot, Suarez.. well.. and Borini I don't think is good enough tbh.
At least you've scored this season though
Looking forward to this weekend, hopefully Sahin and Assaidi play for you and some new signing plays for us

Modric went to real. Be interesting to see what they try to do. Be great if vdv left too.
I know they were after moutinho earlier.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Sahin on loan like you have, or Sigurdsson on a permanent transfer, which one would you have preferred?
