I got into Bristol to do Philosophy, I'm sure you're all delighted to have me in England.

I would never go to Bristol. Only because I've been here my whole life.
A in Film & History. B in Media. C in English Language. I'm satisfied.

My brother got BBD, got into York to do Sport Science and Injury Management. Pleased for him, he didn't think he'd done enough.

Some girl who got all A's, just complained to me that her 'English Mark was lower than I would have liked'
I just said 'Oh, that must be terrible for you(!)'

No, but in AS, the highest grade is A, so it's not like she's missed out on a higher grade.

Re: Exam results discussion thread.
To be fair the actual number of marks does make a difference at A level considering they don't just average out the grades.

It's very considerate, I am empathising with the girl who has unhappy with her low A grade.

Re: Exam results discussion thread.
No, I was talking about her being inconsiderate to my feelings, especially as I had just mentioned that I was disappointed in my C in English.. (although I didn't mention that in my original post on here)

That's very inconsiderate of you, how are we supposed to know if you don't mention these things?

Re: Exam results discussion thread.
if I had have taken these tests I'm fairly certain they would have had my up at court for cheating because
they'd be shocked at me getting 100% of the questions correct in every single paper
