We played too deep at times, and that is because of Carragher and his lack of pace at the back. We were inviting presser onto ourselves.
Does anyone know when Skrtel comes back?

As shown last season, we had a couple of great games with Suarez and Kuyt up front, good pass and move play. I can only think of one game where we did very well with Carroll playing, which was against Man City.
I'm not saying Carroll is bad, he had a goal wrongly disallowed, but I'd rather see Suarez and Kuyt up front against Arsenal. Obviously not going to happen though. I'll probably get loads of facepalms and stuff for saying this, but it's just my opinion.
Suarez and Kuyt link up much better than Carroll and Suarez. I've had my say on Carroll and I think you know where I stand. Suarez and Carroll were in two different minds all day.
So are we going to allow them time to get this partnership worked out? You know, let them gel?

Falling over whenever Carroll was near him doesn't really count. You lot have lowered your standards.
His MOTM award would state otherwise.
Ah yes, because pundits are the epitome of footballing knowledge.

Yes, it was wrong to start him in front of Kelly, but the majority of fans seem to be blaming the whole game on him. Yeh, he made a few mistakes with one leading to a goal, but he's only 18. He played brilliantly against Man City last season, and he doesn't deserve this amount of hate for making a few mistakes in a game we should have wrapped up in the first half anyway. Kelly should defiantly start against Arsenal though.
Hopefully this inspires Kenny and Comolli to carry on spending and look for a replacement for Carragher. He just isn't good enough anymore. Very impressed with Enrique though, he was solid in defence and also picked out a few good passes up the pitch.

Oh its banter stop crying.
Only thing that'll cheer me up is an Arsenal draw/loss which unfortunately won't happen.Dan wrote:Woah. Hold the phones. We're third people, what's the worry?

I'm not crying. I don't think I am anyway. Crying is when tears come out of your eyes right?

MARCO Bueno, Pachuca striker, will today travel to England to join the ranks of the Liverpool team which will be test ten days before signing a contract that would link with the Network box for three years. Well , U-17 world champion, has everything to succeed in Europe, so it travels excited and willing to put up the name of Mexico.
