It came on Sky Sports news. Pretty pathetic exaggeration by you though.

Go watch the 14th anniversary ceremony in NY and tell me how it compares to that mess that Liverpool put on yesterday. Bare in mind this was 3000 people intentionally murdered as an affront to America, not 96 accidentally crushed by their own fans.

Completely different scenarios. If 9/11 was exposed as a cover up, then it would be more comparable.

I laughed because 9/11 is one of the biggest cover ups in history and it lead to two major wars. But yeah that doesn't compare to 96 people being crushed by drunken fans.

It's not been exposed as a cover up though.

Once it's been exposed as a cover up, like Hillsborough was, expect to see similar scenes (or even more dramatic) from yesterday in NY.

Because somehow an "exposed" cover up of the accidental death of 96 people is greater in magnitude than the murder of 3000 people.

You're not doing anything to dispel that Liverpool victim mentality stereotype Laughing

The magnitude isn't the point. The 2 situations are completely different. Yesterday's thing was a reaction to the lies finally being exposed after 27 years and the fans being exonerated.

It doesn't matter if 1 person died, or 100. That shouldn't change how much a person cares about a particular event/situation.

There's a huge difference between an immediate reaction to one thing, than the 14th anniversary of another. The actions of the people reflect that.

You're trying too hard to be edgy.

You're also trying far too hard to forcibly to act like a "proper" Liverpool fan even though you have zero connection to the city or the events. It's becoming cringy at this stage with comments like "It doesn't matter if 1 person died, or 100." Fucking hell.

    Your point is moot.

I'm not trying too hard to be anything. I'm merely addressing your pathetic, agenda driven bile.

    Your comment is still worthless.

I'll reword it since you seem to be really struggling. Memorials/ceremonies are times of reflection, you're saying that the outpouring of emotion yesterday during reflection of the day's immediate events usurp the emotions that would arise when you reflect on an attack on your entire way of life and the murder of 3000 innocent fellow countrymen even if it was 14 years ago? Lol.

You are trying very hard to be deep and "connected" with this event when you have nothing to do with it. Your comment about "1 life or 100 lives" effectively puts Hillsborough on par with the fucking Holocaust. "edgy" teenage philosophy at it's best.

Only agenda here is your feigned one. I don't care if you believe me or not but I'd feel the same way if our fans acted like this.

EDIT: On 9/11, the word was cover up. Not conspiracy. I think they potentially have similar meanings in a certain context, but the latter has a negative connotation. The US "covering up" the extent of Saudi involvement/knowledge is definitely a real thing unlike the "jet fuel can't melt steel beams" stuff.

No, I'm not saying that at all. You're the one who seems to be struggling. You're the one who said it appears as if the Liverpool fans care more about Hillsborough, than Americans care about 9/11. I pointed out that that was an exaggeration and that yesterday's "sing along" or whatever you want to call it, was a reaction to a heavy weight being lifted after 27 years. It was a celebration of sorts. A release. Just because it was more animated, that doesn't mean the Liverpool fans' emotions surpass the emotions of the Americans on the 9/11 anniversay ceremonies, which is what you implied.

You're putting too much stock into my "1 or 100" comment. I was saying that it wouldn't matter how many people died at Hillsborough, the emotions and feelings towards the events (the lies, police cover-up) etc would be the same, regardless.

Again, I am not trying too hard to be anything. You're full of pathetic accusations. I am not being deep, nor connected. I don't personally feel any pull towards the Hillsborough event, nor any genuine sadness, if I am honest. I just disagree with the shit that you're coming out with and I disagree that any real blame can be put on Liverpool fans and I'm glad they've been exonerated, as it makes all the agenda driven, "The Sun was right" chanting knobhead look like utter cunts.

Well your 1st paragraph is a lie/a back track.

If 1 single person had died at Hillsborough then it would have been exactly the same? At this point you're obviously repeating nonsense you don't believe just because you don't want to concede being wrong.

Again, you're trying hard to force emotional/personal involvement with a chant that has nothing to do with you.

Er.. no it isn't. That's what I've been trying to get across to you this entire time. It appears that it's dawned on you now that you misunderstood me completely, so you've resorted to accusing me of lying or backtracking. Fucking hell. Read through it again and maybe it'll click in your tiny brain.

If 1 single person had died, and the police still covered up/lied about it like they did with the 96, then I'd expect it to be the same, if not, very similar. You're getting pedantic, like RR. Try not to take everything absolutely literally. But then again, I guess you're holding onto the little victories.

Again, not trying hard to do anything. If that's how you percieve it, then you're welcome to do so. I don't give a toss.

The Kolo Toure ban was handed down by the FA, which is pretty lenient on drugs. UEFA are not so kind.
