Liverpool FC Official Thread
It was a worldy but the amount times he tried that and failed really fucked me off.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
He will.
There's been a lot of talk about us being interested in Walcott, he's an LFC fan, etc. But outside of his contract not being extended, isn't the beef that he wants to play thru the middle? He won't get that here with Suarez playing striker.

He wouldn't though, he'd give the ball away like he usually does.

I don't really like Gerrard either
he is keeping out good players like Jonjo Shelvey and Jordan Henderson

So, James Rodriguez, Huntelaar, Walcott, Al Habsi or Butland in January?
Not bad.

It's either Walcott or huntelaar in jan. wait and see.

Walcott would be such a good signing, horrendously underrated. Especially as a striker, his finishing is actually fantastic.
I can only see him signing a new contract with Arsenal though.

If the owners wouldn't sanction a move for Dempsey in the summer then I don't see them stumping up the cash for Hunterlarr or Walcott in January. We'll probably recall Carroll from his loan if anything

Walcott wants to play thru the middle though, and he's not better than Suarez so there seems to be a disconnect there.

Rodgers never really planned to play Suarez through the middle unless he could find a winger that scores goals. Look at what he played at Swansea.
Sinclair - Graham - Dyer
a player who cuts in and scores goals, centre forward and a proper winger.
Suarez - Huntelaar - Sterling is pretty much a copy of the above.
Although I'm guessing if Walcott was brought in then there'd be more rotation in the front three than with Huntelaar.

Yeah I get that, and that's what I meant. I dont think we will be able to get both Walcott and Huntelaar, if either. I meant if we were to only get Walcott, then that doesn't make much sense because we still like a finisher in the middle, and he wont be replacing Suarez in the middle.

Suarez is playing in that weird false 9 position right now. He needs players who can fill his position when he drops deep.
Suarez is gonna go wherever the fuck he wants, Rodgers is not going to have him running up and down the touchline helping his fullback out....I don't see Suarez doing it either.
Just my opinion.
I don't know where a striker would fit in unless we have a change of formation with Suarez playing in the hole/second striker.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Side for tonight apparently. Formation of 3-5-2 with Flanno and Downing as wingbacks.
Jones Downing Coates Wisdom Carragher Flanno Shelvey Henderson Coady Cole Morgan
Would be surprised if we managed to get anything out of the game with that side.

It's fucking hard to find a decently priced Liverpool kit now

I don't like the look of that side at all.
Hopefully it means Assaidi will play at the weekend, though.
