Nah. he's just underrated and should be at a better club.Cam wrote:Marvin wrote:Honestly do think Steve Taylor would do well for you guys.
You just want us to leave Cahill alone

And I would love Yossi back, I dunno if we need more Midfielders though.

Good striker, wouldn't mind him back.
Decent enough backup and has pace.
His wages are pathetic though.

No.. He went to Chelsea and said Rafa tried to break his spirit or something, right?

Benayoun?
Not sure, don't think it would be worthwhile given his age really.

He forced his way out of club, to a rival of ours and blamed everyone but himself for his shit performances.

Jord wrote:I've watched a lot of Bremen in the past few years. They(well used to be) my favourite German team. He's really not a good tackler because he's so clumsy. I don't know what you got this idea from, his interceptions are good because of his lanky legs. But his main point is his pace.. Strikers in the premier league will turn him so easy.arsenalap11 wrote:Jord wrote:Sorry but no.arsenalap11 wrote:He's very good at reading the game, and obviously he's pretty strong and .good at heading Good tackler. But yea he's slow as fuck so you'd need someone to cover him. If he was played next to Carragher, you'd be fucked.
He's a gamble, but it could pay off and he's cheapish.
Most interceptions in the German league, and more then anyone in the PL. He is good at reading the game, but can get caught out due to his pace. And he's a good tackler, obviously not great at sliding but otherwise quite good.
I've watched them quite a bit too. Yes he's clumsy, but he is a decent tackler. Lanky legs only get you so far, he's also good at reading the game, but yea his pace will let him down a lot. It depends though, if you've got a fast defender next to him to cover then it could work ok, but you don't so he won't.

I suppose. Cole, Poulsen, El Zhar, Degen, Insua are the only ones I can think of at the moment.Bogdan wrote:We could do with getting rid of some fringe players.Jord wrote:That's a good thing.Mr Leiva wrote:Dalglish: I'm not under pressure to sell, I'm under more pressure to keep bringing players in.

Right, just spoke to someone, who says that someone close to the team has told him that Aquilani really wants to leave, and has been wanting to leave since he got here.
