I personally feel like offloading Gerrard feels more like a new signing, rather than it feeling like we're losing a playerHe's costed us in so many games and our win percentage with him was shocking last season, compared to without him.)
Is he worth the £150,000 a week and the apparent £8-10 million signing on fee, though? I'm not so sure.
But it's not hard to see why he's a wanted man.

I thought it was stupidly high for his age as much as his ability. I'm surprised by how well he's done, but I don't think he'll still be doing it in a couple of years time.

His assists are pretty hilarious, to be fair. He has been grabbing them in numbers recently but I don't really look at any of his crosses and think that it was a particularly devilish ball. He is probably the most effective hit-and-hope crosser in the sport.
