No excuse really. He would have been banned anyway and they've spent well over £100m replacing him.

United's players have scored as many CL goals from open play as Liverpool's.

It's not an excuse, think it's the reason. Yes, they've spent plenty to replace him, but that doesn't mean that they've figured out the formula.

It's not the reason because he'd be banned anyway, earning a colossal wage and they'd have been able to spend half as much on transfers. With him they'd be a lot worse.

He's saying is in an imaganary world where he wasn't banned and still with them they would be better. You're already talking about an imaginary world where he wasn't sold, why can't you just take it one imaginary step further back?

I've always said with that cunt that you can't talk about his quality without taking his psychopathic behaviour into account. If you're talking about a player with all the talents of Suarez, all of his competitively advantageous qualities, but without the negative aspects then you're talking about a different player, a player who couldn't possibly have played for Liverpool because he doesn't exist.Zzonked wrote:ResurrectionRooney wrote:

Too many ifs for RR's little mind to comprehend.

We are in serious trouble of having Basel move out of sight before the 5th match, we need to get something from the next two games. I can't see it, unfortunately.

Pelligrini to blame the fans on encouraging the ref to call that penalty.

Souness passing harsh judgment on Rodriguez, even though by his own admission he's never watched him play and he's going of his "mate" in Spains word, yet he's incapable of saying a bad on about a single Liverpool player

And then he had that assist for Ronaldo's goal. Maybe time for Liverpool to hit the restart down just 3-0.
