Our team now is far worse than it was then, so that's hardly relevant. Two years ago we would have battered them like they battered us now.

I like how the Celtic boss is like "we'll recover". Of course they will, they'll smash the Scottish league no matter what.

Interesting to note that teams from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan both won the first leg but did not advance to the next round.  For whatever reason many of these ex Soviet nations do not travel well.

If that's an optional request it seems ridiculous. No way should Celtic accept at the risk of losing millions.

They should never have accepted the reinstatement in the first place, they got hammered 100% fair and square and took advantage of a technicality.

I guess everyone forgot about my thread oh well I am still going to use it.

Yea but I mean it's the rules, Celtic are under no obligation to help Legia because they fucked up.

Legally you are right but I feel Celtic have a sporting obligation to respect the result of the sporting contest that they participated in. The rules are clear, but when they create such an obvious injustice you would hope that such a respected institution as Celtic, with a strong belief in "sporting integrity" (when it will see their rivals destroyed), would do the right thing.
