Rather sustainable, as I'm sure you're aware. A breeding ground for a nation that's made the World Cup 7 straight times (5 times with the league around) seems to do the trick.

I know you're being sarcastic, but after years of Liverpool fans getting defensive over this theory I can see them peddling this line a lot if Suarez does leave.

Yeah, making out of the CONCACAF qualification rounds is a massive achievement.

Costa Rica qualified, so you don't have to beat them. You do however have to finish above the giants of Panama, Jamaica, and the mighty Trinidad and Tobago.

Same year that T&T, Jamaica, and Panama were in the same group.

Ok. Your actual group of Jamaica, Guatemala and Antigua and Barbuda. Is that better? Those absolute Goliaths of international football, how dare SBSP insult you and list three teams that are better than your actual group.

My point was England had a considerably harder group than the three you listed.

Doesn't surprise me given the amount of Americans that probably didn't even know there was a US football team until a few weeks ago.

idk how people can still say this when a good chunk of our WC roster is composed of MLS guys.

I'm not talking about the national team, I'm talking about the league. Do people turn out to watch these dinosaurs?

Sounders had a higher average than Chelsea last year I heard. Although that is a lot to do with ground capacity of course.

So with Costa gone someone should just wait until Atletico bids for a new striker and then jump in and hijack the bid. Same with any Porto transfer targets.

Atletico will be wary of this and instead bid for someone shit as a smokescreen.
