I predict 1-1, we open the scoring, let in some sloppy goal than fail to score again in the remaining 50 minutes. A scenario I'm far too familiar with.

It's crazy how our net spend after acquiring Aspas, Alberto, Toure, Mignolet and Cissokho is minus £5 million.

That is incredibly impressive, considering how much of an improvement the squad is now, compared to last season.

It also means we can afford to spend £30 million on Willian, easily. (or any other big-name, expensive signing)

Fairly big, yes.

Meh, it's basically similar to Chelsea signing Yuri Zhirkhov.

It's strange that so many people rate Willian so highly. I don't how many people in England watch Anzhi on a regular basis. I don't how many people watched Shakhtar on a regular basis. Unless they're going off of his only two international appearances for Brazil, which were friendlies against Gabon and Egypt in 2011.  

It's because he has an afro.

Is there anything about his footballing abilities that you like, or something that stands out, could you compare him to a player in the Premier League so I get a better idea of his talents?

Higuain wouldn't be in that bracket and I don't agree, Willian hasn't even done that much.. he's not played for his national team and he's not done that much at club level.

To me, his stand out talents are his pace, trickery and his ability to beat a man.

He was fundamental to Shaktar's attack, along with Mkhitaryan. Very highly rated. I mean, he isn't priced at £30 million for no reason
