I'd say this season so far, we've been pretty competitive in terms of points. You are, after all, only one place ahead of us and 2 points ahead. A quick look at yours and our next 3 PL games suggests Liverpool could leapfrog you in the near future.

Yes, you could make a case that they're rivalling us right now. Just have to look at the league table to see that.

If Sterling wants 50k a week we should give 20k + 30k appearance bonus. That way he can be motivated to keep up the promise he's showing, and if he does fall away and become a bit shit we won't be stuck with him on 50k a week.
