Being a neutral with no feelings for or against The Rangers FC, I can say that they're a shocking football team. Rangers were far better this afternoon, and their goal that was ruled out in the last minute was a woeful decision.

Not as easy as Rangers fans thought this league would be.

Fat Sally genuinely is a joke. He's signed numerous players with European pedigree and he has one win from three in the Scottish fourth tier.

They made a huge mistake signing a bunch of SPL misfits motivated by cash, not to mention keeping around some of their own who couldn't find better work. In their arrogance to show up the SPL clubs, they've assembled a cast of barely interested rentals who will make little or no effort in the Scottish fourth tier against part timers playing like its their last ever game.
Not to mention relying on honest mistakes in order to save his side from further embarrassment. That decision is totally indefensible

Lucky to get a point today, no doubt about that. McCulloch, Black and Alexander were the only ones who really looked up for it, but we played shockingly. Can't believe the amount of times the ball was hoofed up the park even though Berwick were winning so many aerial challenges.
Should have won though, Sandaza & McCulloch missed sitters that would have killed it.

Nothing ever changes. The SFA will make sure they get promoted. In a fairer world they would probably be relegation contenders with that moron at the helm.

What the hell was that? Literally no reason to disallow it.

Re: Official Rangers FC Thread
We had the chances to win it and didn't take them. Even then we'd still have been lucky to win based on the performance. But Berwick should also have had that goal allowed so what you've highlighted makes sense to me.The Maestro wrote:MickStupp wrote:Lucky to get a point today, no doubt about that. The SFA are scared shitless that Rangers won't get promoted. Were they going to allow a last-minute winner for Berwick? Were they fuck.

Being as polite as possible, that's bullshit.
The referee wasn't thinking about the promotion chances when he blew the whistle. It was a shocking decision, but he had no idea that there was going to be a goal when he blew.

He blew as the ball was about to make contact with his head, he had a completely free header
Safe to say it was always going to be a goal

Mind you if you see that first half tackle on Black in a top league, especially down south, the guy gets sent off. Surely the ref would have shown a red if he was in on a big conspiracy?

Nobody is saying anything about a conspiracy you fool
Referees have been well known for helping out Rangers in the past, that is one of the most baffling decisions I've ever seen. I'd love to see his explanation for that

Then why are you agreeing with Connor that the SFA are trying to get Rangers back up the divisions with refereeing decisions? The Maestro wrote:Nobody is saying anything about a conspiracy you fool

So you've spent the last few months claiming that Rangers don't have a history yet use past refereeing decisions to bolster your argumentsThe Maestro wrote:MickStupp wrote:

they are a different Club, that doesn't stop people like you claiming they are the same Rangers
I'm sure you like to see them as the same team you've supported all your life, despite them being a completely different club, the reality is you will still see them as Rangers

Re: Official Rangers FC Thread
Just back from the pub ...
Was pretty obvious that it was the new defence's first game together. Argyriou signed yesterday, Perry has been injured since last season, Cribari has just signed (not played for 5 months or something) and Bocanegra is well Bocanegra, shite.
Lee Wallace - injured
Kirk Broadfoot - injured
Darren Cole - injured
Sebastien Faure - not played in around 4 months
Chris Hegarty - Started midweek but picked up a knock
+ We've just lost Dorin Goian, sent him out on loan.
So yeah, we were down to the bare bones defensively.
Again, one of our best players is still injured, Dean Shiels.
Same again with the midfield ...
Kyle Hutton - injured
Andy Mitchell - picked up a knock in training, not fit enough to start
Robbie Crawford - not fit enough, managed to come on as a sub
Oh and yeah, same again with the strikers
Kane Hemmings - Cruciate ligaments
Kal Naismith - not played for the youth team in months, not match fit
Kevin Kyle - Not played for 2 years due to injury, obviously not match fit
All in all, really proud of the teams performances today and against Peterhead, decimated since the summer. Lost 24 players and brought in something like 7, we've really been down to the bare bones due to injuries and lack of match fitness.
Thought we played ok again today, unlucky not to win. Just got to take our chances, that's been our downfall so far, well away anyway. We've been exceptional at home.
Yes, we might be the same club ... but the team is completely different since the summer. Hopefully be able to add a few fresh faces, it'll be tough with such a small squad, but we'll obviously still win the league with ease. WATP!

You are proud of that performance? Even fat sally was saying it's one of your worst ever
Despite that, the manager thought that the present squad ought to have sufficient quality to put in a better display despite having lost some top players after financial problems led to a new start in the bottom tier.
"That is arguably the worst performance I've seen in a long, long time from any Rangers team," said McCoist.
"Careless attitude, careless passing, not enough people wanting the ball, not enough people demanding the ball, not enough people going into dangerous areas.
Play media
"Just, from start to finish, a totally lacklustre, not good enough performance."
