The SPL announce they have appointed an Independent Commission to inquire into alleged EBT payments made by Rangers from 2000 until 2011.
Chris McLaughlin @BBCchrismclaug
#SPL say commission will have powers to determine what sanctions, if any, are appropriate. #Rangers

The full SFA membership has been transferred to the New company, just reiterating the fact that we continue to hold the same history since 1872 ... roll on the next 140 years!

Just under 35,000 season tickets sold in 2 days, not even closed for tonight yet. Nor has public sale been opened. Gonna be a shame when they cut it at 40k, some people will miss out.

Re: Official Rangers FC Thread
Rangers (1872) membership went to Dundee. The temporary one you were given for the Brechin game has become a full membership. So if you are saying that by transferring Rangers 1872 membership to the newco (which hasn't even happened) that means you keep your history then Dundee have been given Rangers history
Andy Coyle @STV_Andy
Transfer of RFC SPL share to Dundee means Rangers' temporary SFA membership automatically becomes full membership.

The history isn't held in the membership, it's held by the club. I was talking about being granted a membership, it could have been rejected.

A club and a holding company are 2 completely separate entities.

That is true. Although I don't think you understand what a holding company is
What was the holding company called? (Answer it this time instead of ignoring me)

Rangers holding company was The Rangers FC Group Limited, formerly known as Wavetower. That wasn't liquidated
What was liquidated was the Club and Company The Rangers Football Club Plc
This was the Club and Company, not the holding company

Re: Official Rangers FC Thread
Rangers 2012 PLC is the company which will be liquidated.
http://companycheck.co.uk/company/SC004276
Previously called The Rangers Football Club PLC.
It is still in administration, and can't be liquidated yet as Giovanni Di Stefano (Dundee Director/One of the biggest lawyers/advocates in the world) has a court order stopping it.

Yep that's right. That's the Club.
It was changed to RFC 2012 PLC a couple of days ago, from The Rangers Football Club Plc in order to free up the name to use on the new club
BDO yet to liquidate it, the fact remains the club you have now is a completely different one, check out the Date of Incorporation
Giovanni Di Stefano is a nutcase by the way, got a link to this court order?

Re: Official Rangers FC Thread
Yes, the holding company was formed in 2012, the club was formed in 1872. Correct.

Jesus Christ, so you are saying The Rangers Football Club Limited (Incorporated in 2012) is the holding company for the old club?

Are you saying The Rangers Football Club Limited, incorporated in 2012, is the holding company for RFC 2012 PLC, incorporated in 1899?

No, the holding company incorporated in 2012 is the current holding company for the club.
How could the holding company incorporated in 2012 be the holding company for the holding company incorporated in 1899? How can a holding company hold another holding company?
You're trying to somehow catch me out by repeating the same thing over and over again, apart from possibly ever making a typo, the truth will always be there.

What the actual fuck!?
1) This company incorporated in 2012 "The Rangers Football Club Limited" is the new company/club
2) You're saying RFC 2012 PLC (formerly known as The Rangers Football Club PLC), incorporated in 1899, was the holding company? Then what was the club called? RFC 2012 PLC (formerly known as The Rangers Football Club PLC), incorporated in 1899, is not a holding company. This is the "Company" and "Club" incorporated in 1899. Again, if this is the holding company then what is the "Club"

There you go, you were the one not saying which company you were referring to in order to confuse me, it's not confusing what I asked you.
You just don't have an answer.
