Did he REALLY just say he wants the SPL to be decimated because they knocked Rangers down, then follow it up by claiming he doesn't care if anybody doesn't like them? Dry Smile

No one likes us, we don't care" is a football chant which originated with the supporters of Millwall Football Club in the late seventies. The chant is to the tune of (We Are) Sailing by Rod Stewart.

The song was originally sung by Millwall fans in response to the sustained criticism of their behaviour by the press and the image of many Millwall fans as hooligans, perpetuated by certain sections of the media in general. The song reached a world wide audience when Millwall reached the FA Cup Final in 2004.

Hardly the first time fans have sang a chant that's been used elsewhere though is it?

Not saying it isn't but many Rangers fans clearly do care so its idiotic to say otherwise.

That's around 9 of our first team players going to be playing in the Premiership next season, not bad. Very Happy

Up to 6 in The Championship, one in Serie A, One in La Liga, One in the Swiss top flight, couple of reserves in League 1, One at the Swedish Champions (but they're shit), One in the Norwegian top flight.

Wylde too, was originally signed by a premiership club. I remember comments all over the English media until about six months ago that there were only about two SPL players who could play in the premiership.

Edit: We need to find the video on youtube from Craig Burley saying Jelavic wasn't good enough for the PL and none of the teams would take him. lool

Plus Ki at Swansea, Cha in the Bundesliga and Loovens in La Liga. None of them starters for us either.

Burley is a tool, he was slating Liverpool and Arsenal for not looking at Jelavic at the end of last season.

RANGERS have completed a deal for Greek defender Anestis Argyriou and the 24-year-old is set to go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s game at Berwick.

The former under-21 international has spent the last two weeks on trial at Murray Park after becoming a free agent in the summer.

He has done enough to convince Ally McCoist that he is worthy of a contract and he has successfully completed a medical and signed a two-year contract.

International clearance has come through for Argyriou so he is free to be involved in the third league match of the season if McCoist wants him.

Argyriou can play at centre back or a right back. He spent the last two seasons with AEK Athens were he made 11 league appearances and previously played for Panathinaikos. He has seven under-21 caps.

The Greek defender becomes the seventh capture following the signings of Ian Black, Dean Shiels, Fran Sandaza, Emilson, Kevin Kyle and Sebastien Faure.

    Decent finish.

SELL OUT SATURDAY IN THE SPL AGAIN THIS WEEKEND!!!!!

    Inverness Caledonian Thistle V Celtic
    Att: 6,100 (7,753)

    Kilmarnock V Dundee United
    Att: 4,516 (18,128)

    Dundee V Ross County
    Att: 4,905 (12,085)

    Hibernian V St Johnstone
    Att: 9,639 (20,421)

In brackets is what each stadium can hold, only 1 was more than half full.

One, barely scraping 25% & another not even making it. Embarrassing.

Not to worry though, now that Rangers have been voted out the fans will start coming in numbers to help save their teams.
