Scottish Football Debts Settled!
http://rangers.co.uk/index.php/news/headlines/item/1731-scottish-football-debts-settled
All debts have now been paid from the time when the club was in Administration.
RANGERS have settled all debts due to Scottish football clubs. The debts were outstanding from the time the Club went into administration.
Heart of Midlothian Football Club is due a further payment from Rangers in July next year and this will be paid when it falls due.
Charles Green, Rangers Chief Executive, said: “As of now, Rangers do not owe other Scottish clubs a penny. These debts were incurred prior to the Club going into administration and there was no obligation on the consortium buying the Club to pick them up.
"From the outset, I have made it clear that I firmly believe the correct thing for the Club to do is settle these football debts as a priority and we kept our word.
“That is what we have done and substantial funds were lodged with the SFA 10 days ago to be discharged to settle the outstanding debts.
"Furthermore, the Club was given a written commitment from the SPL in May that it would settle an outstanding debt to Dundee Utd.
“It was frustrating to be informed by the SFA several days after they received the funds that they did not wish to be a ‘clearing house’ and in fact wanted us to settle the debts directly. Arrangements were then put in place by the Club.”

That isn't even possible, we're going to be playing games every 2-3 days during the season. We've got the Ramsdens Cup, The Scottish Cup & The League Cup. No 3rd division stadiums apart from Ibrox & Hampden have undersoil-heating, therefore there are postponements for weeks of fixtures during the winter. Plus, you do realise we lost 23 players during the summer & possibly losing up to 5 more, this isn't a majority SPL team you're looking at, although there are a number. In our first two games of the season, we've played a 16 & a 17 year old, a lot of the younger lads are being given a chance. Another point, we've played no Pre-Season, most teams have played over 5 pre-season games, so most of our players are unfit. A couple we've signed were without teams and haven't trained at all for 4 months. We annihilated East Fife 4-0 at Ibrox (current 3rd division champions), could have been 10-0 but we took our foot off the gas to avoid embarrassing them. The players were just fatigued for the Peterhead game. Although, we still completely dominated them, we only had 1 fit striker (make shift striker, actually a CDM. i.e. Lee McCulloch. He's 34, so playing 3 times in 2 weeks for somebody like him isn't exactly going to be easy, not to mention his dodgy knee. It was our first league game of the season and with the team, we were fantastic. Our 2 new strikers managed to come off the bench, but they're still nowhere near match fit. Beating the Champions with ease, 4-0 & then drawing 2-2 to the league favourites (before we joined), isn't realistically possible. i.e. there's a reason for it, fatigue. We'll get the match fitness up etc and begin to trounce teams. It's evident when you watch us the gulf in class apart, the passing from us is just something else. Really excited about the future & watching some of the younger lads McKay & McLeod in particular thrive and then be stars when we're back in the top league (I say that with a hint of laughter, SPL ... big league). That's what's good about all this, the academy will start to produce even more stars than it already has done over the past few years. As the SPL struggle without our income, the smaller teams will be making a possible £500,000 from Cup Games vs us which will last them seasons and when the SPL teams start to tumble down the leagues, they'll be able to spend and push up. It's the bigger leagues that are in trouble, not us. And it feels great after the past while of such negativity.
As Bill Struth once famously said:
No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome. That has been the philosophy of the Rangers since the days of the gallant pioneers.

When being presented with the portrait that now hangs in the Ibrox trophy room, Bill Struth said:
I have been lucky — lucky in those who were around me from the boardroom to the dressing-room. In time of stress, their unstinted support, unbroken devotion to our club and calmness in adversity eased the task of making Rangers FC the premier club in this country.
To be a Ranger is to sense the sacred trust of upholding all that such a name means in this shrine of football. They must be true in their conception of what the Ibrox tradition seeks from them. No true Ranger has ever failed in the tradition set him."
Our very success, gained you will agree by skill, will draw more people than ever to see it. And that will benefit many more clubs than Rangers. Let the others come after us. We welcome the chase. It is healthy for us. We will never hide from it. Never fear, inevitably we shall have our years of failure, and when they arrive, we must reveal tolerance and sanity. No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome. That has been the philosophy of the Rangers since the days of the gallant pioneers.
Yes, for The Most Successful Football Club In World History to be like this for the first time in their history is difficult, but it won't last long, We Are The People.
The fans certainly believe in the club, we're expected to sell 40,000 Season Tickets in the countries bottom tier, no other club could every dream of this. With the best fans in the world, we'll be back there in no time. And I can't wait.
We'll also hopefully boycott some away grounds i.e. the teams who said no to us going back into the top flight (even though we rejected the chance to fight for it anyway). You say no to us, well we'll watch you suffer rather than give you millions a season.
Look at this for example:
We're going to have attendances of upwards 40,000 at Ibrox every fortnight, when SPL teams are currently struggling to fill even half of their stadium.
There were more fans at our cup game in Brechin (amateur team, we took like 4000) then there were at the Inverness vs Kilmarnock game.

Honestly?
Maybe it's because it's a long post but the content is full of complete shite
That isn't even possible, we're going to be playing games every 2-3 days during the season. We've got the Ramsdens Cup, The Scottish Cup & The League Cup.
The same can be said for clubs like Celtic who are competing in the SPL, the Scottish Cup, the League Cup, the Europa League. But you're not going to be playing a game every 2 days
Plus, you do realise we lost 23 players during the summer & possibly losing up to 5 more, this isn't a majority SPL team you're looking at, although there are a number.
Yes it is, Neil Alexander, Carlos Bocanegra, Kirk Broadfoot, Dorin Goaian, Ross Perry, Lee Wallace, Maurice Edu, Kyle Hutton, Lee McCulloch, Andrew Little etc were all with the old Rangers in the SPL, players like Ian Black, Sandaza, Dean Shiels also SPL players
Rangers line up versus Peterhead in the 2-2 draw on Saturday
Alexander - SPL player
Broadfoot - SPL player
Goian - SPL player
Bocanegra - SPL player
Little - SPL player
Black - SPL player
MacLeod (Kyle - SPL player)
Wallace - SPL player
McCulloch - SPL player
Shiels - SPL player
McKay - SPL player(Sandaza - SPL player)
I make that nearly a whole team of SPL players
We annihilated East Fife 4-0 at Ibrox (current 3rd division champions), could have been 10-0 but we took our foot off the gas to avoid embarrassing them.
First of all, East Fife are not current 3rd Division champions, they are in the 2nd division. They were 3rd division champions in 2008. The current 3rd division champions are Alloa Athletic. The second part of your post would suggest Rangers deliberately tried not to score any more goals to not embarrass East Fife. I'm sure you're 100% correct Jela!
The players were just fatigued for the Peterhead game. Although, we still completely dominated them, we only had 1 fit striker (make shift striker, actually a CDM. i.e. Lee McCulloch. Going behind 2-1 and then grabbing an 89th minute equaliser to snatch a point doesn't exactly sound like you dominated Peterhead, neither were you fantastic.
Beating the Champions with ease, 4-0 & then drawing 2-2 to the league favourites (before we joined), isn't realistically possible.
What!? Is this real life?
Yes, for The Most Successful Football Club In World History to be like this for the first time in their history is difficult, but it won't last long, We Are The People.
It's blatantly obvious how much effort you put into emphasising that you are the same club, and it's utterly embarrassing.
The fans certainly believe in the club, we're expected to sell 40,000 Season Tickets in the countries bottom tier, no other club could every dream of this.
Another huge exaggeration Your season ticket sales are at 25,000
http://www.scotzine.com/2012/08/rangers-season-ticket-sales-up-to-25000/
With the best fans in the world, we'll be back there in no time. And I can't wait.
After mocking the SPL and wishing death upon it, here he says he can't wait to be back in the top flight
We'll also hopefully boycott some away grounds i.e. the teams who said no to us going back into the top flight (even though we rejected the chance to fight for it anyway). You say no to us, well we'll watch you suffer rather than give you millions a season.
The fact you hold this grudge against SPL clubs because they refused to let you away with cheating for decades says it all about you lot. Still waiting on SPL clubs to go bust without you.
We're going to have attendances of upwards 40,000 at Ibrox every fortnight, when SPL teams are currently struggling to fill even half of their stadium.
You didn't reach 40,000 in the first home game of your history against East Fife, why are you confident of reaching over 40,000 every home game?

McLeod & McKay were playing in the U19's last season, they're not first team players.
Scotzine is run by celtic fans and you know it, every article they publish is bile and completely biased.
Lying again, deleting the main parts ... I was laughing when I said SPL = top flight, as I mentioned. It's an embarrassment.
Rangers sold over 38,000 tickets before the game and an unofficial attendance was given as over 51,000. Everyone admitted that it was pretty evidently over 38,000.
Once again, spouting lies and editing out the most significant parts of sentences. It was better for you to keep quiet, not that anybody has an ounce of respect left for you anyway.
PS. Rangers have sold over 25,000 Season Tickets & public sale isn't opened till tomorrow, people wishing to get one who didn't have one last season, haven't yet been given the opportunity. Another lie from you.
Edit: As for my sig, you're lying again. Charles Green paid £2 for Rangers.

Anyway, 11-2 =9
so if you've done the maths that means the majority of your team were still SPL players

And what the fuck is an "unofficial attendance" ?
Is this just the attendance which you would like it to be, instead of the OFFICIAL attendance which was 38,160

Charles Green: There is an 'agenda' against Rangers in Scottish football!
http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/rangers/149577-charles-green-there-is-an-agenda-against-rangers-in-scottish-football/
You're very correct, Mr Green.
Charles Green has accused Scottish football's authorities of pursuing an agenda against Rangers.
The chief executive, addressing fans queuing to buy their season tickets on Tuesday, said he intended to continue to defend his club, even if it meant incurring the wrath of the Scottish FA.
Green is already facing a charge for claiming the decision to place Rangers in the Third Division was partly driven by “bigotry” but says he won't stop speaking his mind.
“We're not having, excuse my French, people taking the pee out of us anymore,” said Green. “It's finished.
“I will give you an example. This morning, I had a phone call from the SPL telling us we can't put our old games on the website because we don't own the archive rights.
“'And by the way, Charles, don't get angry. You shouldn't think we are being vindictive, it's just what the agreement says".
“Tell me how I took that? I was walking on the ceiling. I think there is an agenda.
“There's still battles to be won. I shan't let you down. I said to someone earlier that when everyone was against us, we stayed. People are now warming to us and we are staying.
“But if we leave fans to one side for a moment, while ever that lot are against us, I'm not leaving. There's no-one spoke for this club for three or four years. It's not had anyone standing up.
“I am going to get fined every week, I suspect, or I will get banned.”
Rangers were issued a Notice of Complaint by the Scottish FA late last week regarding Green's comments, having been accused of bringing the game into disrepute for his remarks.
He said before his side's Challenge Cup tie with Brechin City: "Some of it has been driven by bigotry, some of its been driven by jealousy and some of its been driven by all the wrong motives."
The Scottish Premier League was unavailable for comment at the time of publication over Green's claims regarding archive footage.

He just needs to sign off with WATP and he will achieve a god like status amongst the gullible braindead.
Oh and by the way, guess why you're not allowed to play the matches from the old Rangers on your website? You able to take a stab in the dark?

People saying that over 5000 ST's were bought today (new season ticket sales started at 10am, renewals now finished), ticket office had to turn people away because of the queue size. Phone lines & the ticket website's server went down. That's over 30,000 sold now, sales are expected to be around 40,000 in total.

Phone lines & the ticket website's server went down. That's over 30,000 sold now, sales are expected to be around 40,000 in total.
We had sold over 30,000 by 5PM, ticket office was open till 9PM.
Unfortunately, we can only legally sell 42,000.
You need to leave a percentage for sponsors, corporate etc.

Another Brazilian winger
A Greek Defender
Moritz passed a medical, they'll decide after the game whether they want to offer him a contract.
