I already explained that. It will allow us to generate more profit so we can invest more in the squad.

Why would we want to pay them prices then if every season we end up getting mediocre/ shit players.

I didn't renew my membership this season because we didn't sign any good players.

Well, obviously they need to make it clear to the fans that their money will go towards transfer funds. It could potentially be a good move, but with our board, it's obviously not guaranteed.

They better make it god damn clear. If we do not sign one big name player in the summer I will go mental...not like they would want to join us anyway.

The board have said we have £53m in funds to invest in the squad but we would lose £45m of that if we fail to make the Champions League.

8 million pounds is more than enough. I'm already excited for the new season.

That 8 million also has to go towards signing on bonuses, contract clauses and the player's first years wage. laugh

Queensland Road flats should be sold late 2012 or early 2013 so that'll be an income of £35m.

Our wage bill is £130m a year, debt is £220m and the club actually breaks even. Only profit is transfers..

We will have an increased revenue of £10m annually but the board is not looking in to selling players this summer so we will break even.

The board have just said that Arsenal have £45m in cash, £60mm after add-ons from transfers are paid to us, then take away £10m for agents fees. So we do have £50m to spend "or save for a rainy day" IF we qualify for the Champions League.

If we don't qualify then the £45m from them funds would be put in to the club to replace the missing CL funds.

The £50m is also used towards loyalty bonuses in new contracts.. That means Djourou and Vermaelen were both given money out of that.

Ironically, Arsenal will fall short of Financial Fair Play regulations if they do not qualify for the Champions League. rofl

Liverpool make around £40m in 5 years from Adidas while Arsenal make £14m from Nike. Our commercial deals can't be re-negotiated until 2014...

The club only made a £6m increase in revenue from ticket price rises. Ivan Gazidis and Tom Fox received 6 figure bonuses this year.. Neutral

So this season is now make or break.. If we finish 4th, we can end up having £50m to spend in the summer plus another £35m from property sales to spend in January. If we don't finish 4th, we will have £5m. Neutral

No more room for negativity in here. I don't want to hear it. We'll thrash Tottenham this week, demolish Liverpool and Newcastle and march on to fourth place. We'll spend 70 million in the summer on Eden Hazard, a damn good left-back and a proper centre forward, we'll get rid of Park, Chamakh, Denilson and all the other shite cunts, and van Persie will be lifting the Premier League trophy come May 2013. COME ON YOU GOONERS!

The point of increasing ticket prices is that we stop playing as fucking shit as we are at the moment.
I have no trust in this board at all, they already raised the prices by 6% last season and look what happened..

They were asking about people's reactions to the ticket increases and said there's no plans for increases this year.
