Loan deal? That'd be pretty useless. He'd come back a year older (31?), with perhaps a better form, which is doubtful, but that will hardly increase his price tag. Cash is the only option.

On the subject of Walcott, reports suggest Chelsea are interested in him for £10 million, or a possible exchange with Daniel Sturridge. Thoughts? I'd take the swap deal.

This is from another forum. I reckon Walcott is worth more than £10m, certainly considering he's still rather young and is English. Perhaps you could state he's still got the potential to be a good player. I'd swatch him with Sturridge any day. Better than all our striker options, except of RVP of course, who could be out of his way coming summer.

Not suggesting Sturridge would replace RVP or anything. I don't think there are any realistic targets for that matter.

I would love Sturridge for Walcott. I'll even give them Rosicky, Diaby, Squillaci to toughen up that defense, and Gibbs.

Yeah it's the 23rd to suite the PS3 users as they're store gets updated every thursdays, nonetheless they still have to wait till 5 whilst us 360 get it in the morning

This. I think most of the people would agree Walcott's a very limited football player, but I think there's more to catch than £10m, atleast when selling to a rival. If he'd move abroad, then I'd consider £10m to be a reasonable price.

Theo is easily worth £10m regardless of his limitations. The fact that he is English automatically makes him worth that much, then you toss in his age and experience in first team football and thats another £4-6m added on. If we sold him to Juventus (since there were once interested) we could easily get £15m or more for him.

I too saw the Arshavin to Zenit article on Soccernet, but I doubt it'll happen since its so close to the RPL deadline and we are thin already.

I haven't watched an Arsenal game since Henry's return. Don't get me wrong, Arsenal are still my favorite English club, I just don't feel that passion for them that I used to.
