Adding Scott Parker to our team would have completely changed the way we play. Tottenham don't play like we do so they didn't have to change a thing to integrate him into the team. If he were at Arsenal the flow our our game would be much slower due to have Parker in the middle and you would have to bench Song (something Wenger is not going to do) or Wilshere (something Wenger is not going to do) to play Parker. SP's price was nice, but we needed a lot more than Scott Parker to reinforce our team and Wenger basically failed big time.
I do not see the board taking power away, and Kroenke is not going to interfere because he is a huge fan of Wenger so unless the board all resign or some freak of nature happens you can look for the next couple of year at the club to be much like they are now.
Its so sad, because Arsenal are probably the most entertaining team to watch in the BPL. The fact that they have not won a trophy in 5-6 years is heartbreaking for the attractive style of football they play...
We're fucking boring now, before we'd camp outside the box waiting for something to happen but now the only chances we get are off a counter attack, lobbed ball or a cross. Arteta keeps possession (undervalued trait) but rarely passes beyond 5 yards, Ramsey can't do shit and Song's just sluggish
