He could be better, he has age on his side though. I just want to see Wilshere as the advanced midfielder of the trio, think he could be great, both Ramsey and Wilshere will switch throughout the match so it doesn't matter too much I guess.BladeGunner14 wrote:Steadman wrote:Wilshere
Ramsey - Song
Something like that, Song needs to improve his temperament and positional ability though to cement his place.
Song is fine as he is even if he does occasionally neglect his defensive duties. Coquelin will hopefully be excellent anyway. And I think Ramsey will be the furthest forward of the midfield three.

Say the worst comes to the worst, and God decides for pastures new, who would you all replace him with, realistically, no more than £15 million?

arsenal should try for llorente
doumbia is not so good when u watch him play he just runs with face down like a unguided missile and runs into dead ends a lot. he is very similar to gervinho

If we had to do that only a handful of players would cut it and you know we won't get them.

In one instance we finish outside of the top 4.
In the other we finish top four.

If Van Persie can stay fit, Arsenal can easily achieve the top four or more if he gets injured for a long period of time you're screwed.

Replace him with Baptista. Then unleash him and Arshavin at Anfield.

By the way, this is the international break where Van Persie normally gets injured.

Oh the joy when knowing Chamakh is going to be leading our attack for at least 6 weeks this season.

The best thing Arsene could do is spend £30-50M in january on 1 or 2 real top notch players. If not RVP is gone.
I think a quality youngish fullback and attacking player who could play right across the front would do us wonders.

Frimpong has a bit more aggression in him, Coquelin reads the game better imo. Both look tidy players though at this current time.BladeGunner14 wrote:thedinho wrote:No love for Mr.Dench Blade?

for me it would be the other way round with Wilshere and Ramsey but they interchange positions when they play together anyway so it doesn't really matter. Ramsey's defending needs work though.Steadman wrote:Wilshere

We need to get a top striker in January and sell Chamakh. Remy would be phenomenal, I love the lad, but he would be slightly unrealistic don't you think.
Papiss Cisse would be great, he's quick, he's strong and Frieburg are doing badly so we can swoop in and get him.
We also need a versatile attacking wonder like Ayew or Hazard.

We're going to lose Chamakh and Gervinho in January as well, Arsene said Walcott may get his chance upfront.
If he doesn't buy a striker.

Jack Wilshere "I'm a gunner for life"
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has promised he will never leave the club.
The England midfielder, 19, wants to play a central role in bringing success to the north London club as Arsene Wenger continues trying to mould a team of young talents to end the club's trophy drought.
Wilshere told iFilmLondon.com: "Can I promise I will be at Arsenal for ever? I can promise that, yes."
He added: "I've been at the club since I was nine and I've learned to love it.
"From the (Patrick) Vieira days, to (Dennis) Bergkamp, (Cesc) Fabregas, I've watched them come through and move on.
"But now there's a crop of new players, (Aaron) Ramsey, myself, Kieran Gibbs, hopefully we can really create something special.
"I love the club and I want to be part of its future."
Wilshere has yet to play for the club this season due to a stress fracture to his right ankle but is set to step up his training, six weeks after undergoing an operation on the injury.
"As I said had 6 week X-ray earlier and all going well," he wrote on Monday on his Twitter page. "I can start to work a bit harder now."

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
All of your suggestions would be very good, Cissé seems the most likely now, also because Freiburg already bought his replacement this summer (Dembélé) because they thought he would leave so they could gladly sell him.The Bat-Man wrote:We need to get a top striker in January and sell Chamakh. You as an avid follower of the French league, what would you think about getting Martin or Boudebouz?
Both looked great vs Lyon when I watched them this Sunday and also in other games I saw.

Pretty sure Martin was open to a move to Arsenal, amongst other clubs, IIRC.

Would be the oldest player to ever play for a professionally club if he wants to stay at Arsenal forever
