Good to know that guy will be able to comeback to play football again but I hope he does not rush back too soon. If somehow he got another concussion in the near future it could mess him up a lot more than this one did. These type of brain injuries are not ones to mess with.

He's right though, another knock to the head/neck and who knows what may happen. Give him a few weeks at least as I'm sure he's got a massive headache and will do for a while. So relieved to know it wasn't anything more serious though.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
As I have said concussions are no joke so it might be in this guys best interest to take off a bit longer like maybe the rest of the year to fully heel. If you ever heared of Sidney Crosby (ice hockey player) you might know why that is how it is. He had a concussion came back like a week later got another one and has yet to return. It has been like 8-9 months and he still has not been cleared for contact (ice hockey is more physical than football) practices. Some people think he might never come back and that his career is over.

I've heard of him but never knew that, it's hard to keep interest in NHL sometimes here. But I drafted him on NHL 12.Weather130 wrote:As I have said concussions are no joke so it might be in this guys best interest to take off a bit longer like maybe the rest of the year to fully heel. Fucking great, our coach has to go in goal again this weekend. Last time he was in goal we lost 4-1 to Macclesfield.

Listening to the fans forum, Pitman is arguing with fans already on the 2nd question.

We could loan you our Reserve Keeper Braniagan, god knows why we aren't loaning him out to a club like Hereford who are only in the league below.

We have absolutely no budget.
Peters said Simon Davey has signed players at the start of last season for 3/4 times the average League 2 wage, and that's why we have no budget!!! The players are 2 years deals obviously aswell.

"Why have we not got a keeper in for Saturday?"
Peters: "Funny, the first thing that i was told by the manager was that the keeper was out and both the centre halves!, Wales U21 wont release our GK Cornell even though he will only stay on the bench (DISGRACE!).

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Welsh FA screwed us over and we can't afford any loans.
Pitman/Peters:
GP: We've lost Delroy as well. I didn't think one of my biggest worries was going to be losing players to international duty!
Uh oh Pitman being quesitoned about his passion for the club, he didn't appreciate that!

Doesn't Pittman have any contacts who can do you guys a favor? If Yates can get in the England Under 21 keeper on loan then surely he can at least attract someone to play in goal for you.

Oh crap its our fans forum tonight.
A few points from twitter.
Every loan player wants to stay with us. Have talked about trying to sign Shane Byrne, we have the chance to look at them
I will not put this club at risk, it took the club ten years to recover last time when it was put at risk - Barker
Forum Update: Futch asked to go, but he still has a future here - Barker
Tight knit group of players that self police themselves, will not tolerate nonesense in the dressing room - RB #buryfc

Gary Peters said he went around everywhere and couldn't get a free loan, also we are up to the limit of 5 loanees in the squad so bringing in a new goalkeeper will mean pushing out another loanee player which just isn't viable seeing as we only have 14 fit players at the moment.
Peters said we need to build up the city to have a massive fight on it's hands to keep the club up, i say bring it on.
Gary Peters said he hadn't signed any contract yet because he wasn't sure of his reception from the fans due to being at Shrewsbury but he feels fine to sign the contract now. This is exactly what we need and i feel confident he can get us playing football again.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Yeah, still almost cocked it up as the terrace and seating tickets are listed separately - seating was at the top so I had that in my basket. Luckily I realised when the price suddenly went up by a fiver. However, my other mate who booked after wasn't so lucky and he bought a seat so he's had to call our ticket office to swap it!
Only £15 as well, very reasonable I thought.

Great price, £10 cheaper than watching Hereford play this weekend

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
So I wonder how many football league teams will have to deal with squad issues during this international break? I believe a decent amount of players of tiny island nations (CONCACAF) play in the football league and below. I think some Asian players are in the same situation. So my most curious question would be which team loses the most players for this weekend?
