It's the same date that was set for the Coventry game, that game will be rescheduled.
Bristol Rovers will take on rivals Bristol City in a pre season match.
The two sides will go head to head at Ashton Gate on August 4th in a testemonial for Louis Carey.
Currently the City's second highest appearance holder with 625, Louis is poised to sign a new one-year contract at City and could yet surpass the late John Atyeo's record of 645.
It is somewhat fitting for the Bristolian that his testimonial game will come against Bristol Rovers - City's derby rivals.
Good, he's got us playing some great football and has guided as to some great results this season. We're targeting a play-off place next season now we have a good manager at the helm.Jelavić7|EFC wrote:I forgot about Mark McGhee, hows he doing?
"The list has been established for a while now, but we have been talking to players before we announce it publicly.
"Two or three players have known for a while that we will not be renewing their contracts, but I have been talking to players and discussing their futures with them and making sure they are clear on the reasons they are not getting a new deal."
And the manager says that his next priority is to 'fill in the blanks'. He said: "We are short of a left sided player, and at the moment we have no recognised centre halves at the club.
"I am currently talking to Leicester about the possibility of bringing Tom Parkes and Cian Bolger back to the club.
"I am also talking to another centre half this week, and I have to make a decision on Aaron Downes.
"Up front I feel as if we need to freshen things up a bit.
"I have spoken to Stoke about having Matt Lund back as I think he is going to get better and better, and I would like another couple of midfield players."

I'm lost.CoVkId01 wrote:Harrold wrote:Clint?
Morrison. Loved him at Cov
Let us have Eastwood, he'd do a great job for us. Sadly it looks like he's heading back to Roots Hall.CoVkId01 wrote:You released Clint?
Clingan, Eastwood, Ireland and Hreidarsson all out of contract here, not bothered about any of them. Nimley & Norwood have gone back to Manchester which will be a blow.
Expecting Keogh to leave in the summer, maybe Cranie too. Nobody else (bar the youngsters) is worth buying
Apparently your signing one of our players which i would assume would be Grella or Coke and Amoo although they were on loan.Ben 10 wrote:We've beaten Millwall to the signing of Scott Laird, a left-back with 9 goals this season for Stevenage. Sounds good

Always played well against us, he probably won't want to join because of the amount of gypsy chants we welcomed him with last time he came.CoVkId01 wrote:Trent wrote:

yeah, I'm guessing he's off to Southend if they can afford his wages.
Believe me, you don't want him anyway
I dunno why but I thought that's how the company wrote it, a quick google search says otherwise.Blue Square wrote:The way you put npower in the title is frustrating me.
