Just read this on the Plymouth Argyle forum from a guy who was following the match on sky sports.

    To explain..

It was 1-1 in the match. Jeff Stelling says, "there's a goal at Whaddon Road, Cheltenham vs Plymouth, but which way has it gone?", the screen display comes up showing Cheltenham 1 - 2 Plymouth Argyle. So I'm there like "YESSS!!", dancing around the living room... then the commentator at the game starts describing Cheltenham's last minute winner...

What a load of crap, Sky!

    Laughing Feel bad for him...

Hull are the best shittest team ever. Do nothing all game, get a luck break, then defend like beavers! It works for them though, can see them finishing in the Play Offs this year.

    Agreed, he's a little cunt.

Laughing Nigel Pearson knows how to set up and make the team play away from home. No idea how they played today, but I know the home games they've been a lot more attacking and have been playing attractive football.

Stanley, who brought 96 with them though it looked a lot less, scored with what I'm sure was their first shot on target. Hope Akpan took his goal very well and I suggest to everyone to watch it tonight. Southend are top now after winning, and next up is Hereford away. npower Football League 2011/2012 - Page 20 279869

Pretty average game with Brighton today, had 0-0 written all over it when we kicked off. Not a bad point overall.

Poor game, Stevenage brought about 100 fans and the atmosphere was generally shit the most entertaining thing about the match was two fans in our stand fighting. Neutral

Off topic but I was a minute away from reaching the Playoff final with Leeds.

I had 90 points and was 1 point off 2nd although a terrible GD compared to 2nd place. I lost 3-1 in Cardiff and was 2-0 up at home in the 90th minute playing 532 defensive after scoring the second when they scored from an indirect free kick. Fuck you

EDIT: I was also 90 minutes away from going up automatically but another bogey team away from home called Millwall beat me 2-0 which kept them up. Dry Smile

This year hasn't gone well in the cups. In both Carling Cup and JPT we were knocked out in the 1st rounds (not counting the Wimbledon game as that was a qualifier). So I see that going for FA Cup as well.

Yeah it was you. It's a pub near your ground and it's a good laugh. The old man is a local apparently but the barmaid said she had never seen the Black one before. The old man asked a few different people to "come to my gaffe". Laughing

They were there for the taking today, hardly threatened in the second half and we had several decent chances. Fair play to Marshall though he made 3 or 4 very good saves, definitely 2 points dropped that but at least we didn't lose to them like we normally do. Laughing

Yeah. At least we look like beating our bogey teams this season although we still manage to fail like against Ipswich away and Birmingham away.

I just had a look at this statto site and we have played everyone in the top 12 apart from Derby. You'd think that means the rest of the teams would be easy but it's the likes of Leicester, Blackpool, Forest, Reading, Barnsley, Watford and Burnley. Neutral Some of those teams are starting to pick up a few wins now as well which doesn't make it any easier for us. Sad

    Sad.

We are sad to confirm the news that Cheltenham Town Under-16 player Marcus Powell has passed away.

16 year-old Marcus unfortunately suffered injuries in an incident involving a car at the weekend whilst out jogging but Marcus was unable to pull through.

The club's thoughts are with Marcus' family and friends at this difficult time and we would ask that his family's privacy should be respected throughout this difficult time.

A full club statement will be made over the next few days.

    How tragic.
