This isn't club football. In my opinion it takes more to get into the international side, which is why I said if Carroll suddenly started playing better than Rooney then he should be in starting squad, possibly playing alongside or infront of Rooney.

Caroll will never play significantly better than Rooney in his life so uhh yeah.

He did for a good part of last season.

Carroll scored more league goals than Rooney last year in less appearances.

Sounds good.

They showed flowers on the Bulgarian pitch on SSN, hardly noticeable but looked a bizarre when they zoomed in.

Bulgaria have Iveilen Popov he had a trial with Rovers,he was quite good but we never signed him

Last season..

He said significantly.

His performances were for lesser clubs, therefore significantly more important for both teams. Rooney had other players to bail him out.

Young behind Rooney.

Downing and Walcott on the wings.

Its a 4-4-1-1.

If it was 4-4-1-1 it would be this.

Personally, I would put Young on the wing and put Walcott as striker in front of Rooney.

How can Jones not be at least on the bench? That guy is long overdue his chance.

Mediocre line-up. As usual.

Extremely negative from Capello, very disappoing to see 2 limited central midfielders while Lampard sits on the bench and Cleverely sits in the stands.
