That's not richest, that's just value. If Arsenal are the 3rd richest club in the world though, that's a great reason not to sack him, the club makes a healthy profit every year and is extremely valuable. If I was a chairman I would be offering him a 20 year contract.

Yeah I didn't look at other years, 33% isn't too bad for what's happened before. That 131% increase is crazy though.

Not everyone can be John O'Shea (another man Wenger should have signed), it's not unprofessional to be unable to play in another position to your own. Berbatov is one of the most professional players in the Premier League, but I don't think he would be able to play effectively anywhere other than as a striker.

What do you think about him lacking the general fitness to play more than 30 minutes in the league? Does that affect his chances of playing more regularly?

We generate more than enough profit without transfers, the point is that he wanted to spend what he earned last summer so he did. The summer before that he didn't want to buy shit with 30m in profit made. Does that still make sense?
