You could have conceded 10 if Real Madrid carried on playing, like we did against Arsenal. A manager shouldn't keep his job because his opponent decided to take pity on him. Also, that was Redknapp's strongest team, that was the team he'd built and they got raped. It's a good job they didn't take this attitude when we pasted them 6-1 or they'd have missed out on a double and an unbeaten season.

injuries or no injuries you should never concede 8 in an epl game, end of. Even the shittiest clubs who get relegated don't normally let teams score 8 against them.

I don't think Wenger deserves the sack just because of a 8-2 loss, but that was the straw that broke the camel's back. If I was Wenger, I wouldn't be able to look my players in the face during that match. As a player, I would have handed in my transfer request seeing as I probably wouldn't be playing CL football next season and have yet another trophy-less season.

He'll be gone soon enough managing England, rumor has it. I like Harry though we were in relegation zone when we hired him and we've come so far. Nobody would've penned us to beat clubs like Inter and AC Milan or even be in the CL in the first place. I disagree with some personnel moves of his but all in all he's good.
