Re: The Walking Dead Chat Thread
Just finished the episode.
By the way T-Dog continues to be pointless. I'd have to see it again to be sure but I don't think he had a single line in that whole episode.
- Spoiler:
- Fuck man, because someone spoiled the episode for me I already knew Dale was going to die(even though they made it really vague), poor choice to kill him off in my opinion, Dale was the voice of reason in the group. The last line of defense protecting the group's humanity from a harsh, unforgiving world. It's going to be interesting to see who is going to take on that responsibility now. Probably Rick.

Re: The Walking Dead Chat Thread
Yeah T-Dog only made two appearances in the show. One was during the group discussion the other was at the end when Rick told him to get the shotgun. He didn't talk at all on either occasions either. WHY DOESN'T HE JUST DIE.

Carl is annoying. Simply killing the new lad is kind of odd aswell. Should've just left him for the walkers then, but instead, they've rescued him twice.

Re: The Walking Dead Chat Thread
How can we be so certain to know that Dale is dead? We heard a gunshot, we didn't see that he actually died.
Glenn?
Not too sure, the death could have been what was needed for the show - more or less an indication to actually leave the farm too. Which'll inevitably add more action to the show.
PM?

Yah, I am upset he is dead. He is the only character who the audience had any connection too and only one other than Daryll who is still sane. I really thought he would develop into that character that will be integral to the group's ability to stay sane and keep together.
Now, I think this show will collapse...
Glenn?

Next show is going to be huge. Did you see the little bit after the show saying "Next week on TWD..." The dude escapes apparently. There also has to be some big event that will fill the void of the old man's death.
And yeah... If you haven't noticed I am awful with names.
PM?

Re: The Walking Dead Chat Thread
Shows have a habit of moving the camera away before a protagonist is killed. Game of Thrones did, and I appreciated it. Imagine seeing the kill itself close-up.

They showed the death of Andrea's sister, but I agree - he would have turned into a walker regardless. Perhaps they could secure him in the barn, or something? And, what was the whole "big event" that'll fill Dale's death? I didn't see/hear about that.

Anyway, to answer your question I just meant there had to be some sort of change in the group to keep them somewhat sane. Dale was pretty much the only sane was bar possibly Glen and Daryll and I think they'll probably all reminisce over Dale's teachings to them at his funeral or something and decide that they can't kill humans anymore or some shit. Just speculation, nothing actually happened to indicate this.
Also he died just when he was getting along with Andrea again

- Spoiler:
- There was something released online by accident from some of the background staff that Shane dies in the last episode, so. Could potentially be a show killer though if they kill him off, would mean that season three would be the last series, would it not?

Knew this plot hole had to be filled sooner or later. Wonder if they are even going to do anything with Daryll's brother too.

Really? In the comic books they don't show up again for a long time after.iSamuel wrote:The man and son who Rick met in the first episode are apparently in the next episode.

I personally haven't read the comics, but surely the show must vary a bit from the comics or it wouldn't be as good for the people who have already read the comics.Lu❣s Suarez wrote:Really? Hardly any of the show has followed the comics.
