Of course, he wants to be welcomed in by a new club and fans, most new players would do the same.Mal wrote:kyro7 wrote:He would do, he was an Arsenal player at the time, that's how it works generally.
And that's what he's doing now about City fans.

Its ok to embrace your new clubs fans in order to be welcomed, but he crossed the line when he decided to question our fans passion for this club.

we gave him a very entertaining song. he can go fuck himself. even other Arsenal players were jealous of it and thought it was their favorite.

Then I take it as a personal insult. He had no problems praising our fans while playing for us, and he forgets the warm reception he received in the Liverpool game even after his antics.kyro7 wrote:That might be a genuine belief of his.Steadman wrote:Its ok to embrace your new clubs fans in order to be welcomed, but he crossed the line when he decided to question our fans passion for this club.

We're not getting any new players before the United game and even if we do, they somehow won't play knowing Wenger.

tl;dr grammar nazi's are the good guys.
Luke is one of the people that has actually benefitted from my constant corrections. I don't see him getting any of the words mixed up now.
People complain about always getting corrected by a grammar nazi, but if they actually took heed to the 'grammar nazi's' advice/correction, then the 'grammar nazi' won't ever bother them again.

We wouldn't have time to register them anyway. I said yesterday don't expect new faces for the United game.

Registration happens in one go on September the first, during August and January you can play anyone you like without registration problems.

If incorrect grammar on a football discussion board bothers you, then there's something wrong with you
If you understand what they mean then why nit pick ? Quite sad tbh.

Yeah I think you can play a player as soon as you sign them. Enrique played for Liverpool a day or two after he signed for them I think?
But, we'll need to sign someone tomorrow for it to happen probably.

I meant registering them as an official Arsenal player, we're not exactly the fastest club when it comes to negotiations. The Bat-Man wrote:Steadman wrote:We wouldn't have time to register them anyway. I said yesterday don't expect new faces for the United game.

You have to register a player before you can play him.
During the months of August and January anyone can play, on September 1st and February 2nd the clubs have to send their list of players to the Premier League bunch.

They have to send their squad list at the start of the season and a revised one when the windows close, but for a player to play for a club, he has to be registered.

It's a different ball game now, clubs know we have a large influx of money in our possession, any players we're after their clubs will hold out for more.arsenalap11 wrote:Steadman wrote:I meant registering them as an official Arsenal player, we're not exactly the fastest club when it comes to negotiations. The Bat-Man wrote:Steadman wrote:We wouldn't have time to register them anyway. Yeah, you have to registered players before you can play them, but you can register and deregister people as much as you like in August and January.

You have less than a week to replace Nasri and Fabregas?
