Thinking about it. Could Gio have been told he's got another shot? Or if he;s not been told surely he's around the frame now that Pienaar's gone and the likes of Townsend are out on loan think

Harry doesn't want him round, just nobody in Spain made made an offer which met our valuation. He just didn't want to go to US or Russia.

Doubt he'll get many games tbh. Although Harry has said he rates him so maybe he'll get more then Pav got.

Read he drops deep a lot to get more involved in the build up. Abit like Ade does hopefully.

I love that Sandro is a Spurs player, don't want to mess with him and I don't think he needs a gumshield anymore. Laughing Gio looked pretty ripped in the background for a small guy, and maybe he doesn't want to leave because Sandro threatened him? Tottenham Hotspur Official Thread - Page 28 279869

    I'LL GIVE EVERYTHING - RYAN

Ryan Nelsen is delighted to have been given the opportunity to join 'an amazing squad'.

The defender's switch from Blackburn Rovers was confirmed on Wednesday and, like fellow new arrival Louis Saha, he can't wait to get started.

Ryan has a wealth of experience after seven years at Ewood Park and led New Zealand in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
"Looking from afar, it's such an exciting place to be at the moment," said Ryan.

"When I was at Blackburn and looking at the squads, I always thought Tottenham had an amazing squad.

"It's a bit weird, considering I've been trying to kick them for the last eight seasons, but it will be great to play alongside them!"

Ryan joins some high-class central defenders at the club in Ledley King, Michael Dawson, Younes Kaboul and William Gallas.
"They are all world-class players," added Ryan.

"I know my role and why Harry's brought me in so if I can help out and contribute in any way, that will be fantastic.
"All I know is that I'm delighted to be here and I will work my socks off. I'll give everything for this club."
