Hello fellow Yids!

I would go with the same side as above. Harry would have wanted VDV on the bench but since Defoe is injured he may be forced to play VDV.

He'll probs go:

Even though Palacios has been rubbish lately we may need him in these kind of games.

Personally i think we can get away with Modders in the middle - West Brom try to play too good football for their own good - we can outplay them instead of it being a war.

I just want to see VDV get some gametime. Want to see where Harry plays him and if he's going to change our system to fit him in, or fit VDV into our system.

i thought Gomes was injured :S so either Carlo or Stipe in goal, but heres mine for sat:

team i use on FM10 but Daws instead of Gallas, Gomes instead of Cudicini and Defoe upfront.

VDV fits in with my system whether it works in reality is another concept all together lol. just wanna see him in that lilywhite shirt... which reminds me i must get his name on the back of one this year

I like to think Harry will play VDV in his favoured position. Afterall, he was after Joe Cole for much of the summer, who was very vocal about playing centrally. So hopefully that will mean he was already planning the system in the summer with Joe Cole in the hole, but now will use VDV in the hole instead.

The system worked well away to Stoke, especially in the first half. Both Lennon and Bale got forward a lot while Jenas made some good runs forward aswell. VDV will be better at that than Jenas, while West Brom aren't going to play dirty like Stoke did in the 2nd half. So we should be able to play our own game.

the site seems to freeze and breakdown whenever i try.. obviously doesn't want me to have VDV on the back lol. I'll try again later today

I don't trust Carlo in goal. I really want him to do well after his accident, but I would rather try out Stipe while Gomes is injured

is Stipe match fit? cause it may take him a bit of time to get his fitness back

Yeah Stipe is fit (I think) I mean he did come from Russia

if he is fit then start him if not then obviously go with Cudicini

yeh i was aeasley on EA forums. didn't post much, only posted when i felt the need to lol. i will try and be more active on here though
