Yeah I want him to play because he has to and he has to play well. He is a natural attacking midfielder and if Wenger is intent on playing the central midfielder in an advanced role, that suits Arshavin perfectly. It's time for him to start showing his class.

As for our defense, it's still shit. We kept a clean sheet against an inferior Newcastle, but our defense is weaker this season than last season when it was shit. With no improvements we will surrender 40 or more goals again this season and Wenger has no excuses other than his shit managing over these last 2 seasons.

I don't like Laurent because he is shit, its not hating it's fact.

Doesn't make him shit though does it. Besides, Koscielny was only proper shit when he played next to Squillaci. When he and Djourou played together, they had a streak of games where they didn't lose together and barely conceded. And he's done well whenever he's been next to Vermaelen too.

I know what he said he said its fact. Its not but he has a point in saying he is shit. Maybe he will improve i don't know but this is a dangerous season and i don't want to gamble on a player that was playing in Ligue 2 a few years ago (as first choice)...

He probably isn't but he's our best chance of signing a good attacking midfielder/playmaker.

All the other playmakers are already playing at top clubs and it would be a step down/sideways for them if they joined Arsenal.

Our defense was the 4th best in the league last season. Although, realistically it would be 6th because we keep more possession, but that's still one of the best in the league.

I wouldn't be that worried if he was a 3rd choice CB but a starter IMO is a big no.
